There is the issue of proportion. Everyone is imperfect some way or other.

最近一篇會議論文沒有被錄用，這個本來沒有啥，關鍵是本人的文章是被据論文中平均
分最高的（比不少被接受了的論文的平均分都高!）。 四個審稿人中三個給的分數都还
可以（其中一個还給了最高分），除了第四位。 這肆毫無根據瘋狂攻擊technical
soundness of the proposed approach,完全是baseless. 整個評語全部在nitpicking.
其實圈子很小，不難猜測到遮第4位審稿人是誰。基本上可以確定是某老中助理教授。
這位老兄不知道天生喜歡挑刺，還是刻意和我過意不去。對我的以前的論文投稿下濄重
手好幾次了，我只是不曾點破而已。 最近這斯还邀請我幫審論文。 真是可笑。 這個

老印呢，属于问问题你就知道他要黑你的，比较容易看出来。
老中呢，丫一开口就知道是不是要黑你了。
但是对于黑人的概率来说，白人最低，最高是老印，老中因为个人没碰见过所以不好说。
个人情况来说，今年90%遇到的是白人，这90%里面只有10%左右确实是被黑了，而且是
被拒了之后才发现被黑了。
剩下10%遇到老印，基本上见一个准一个全被黑了，都是正在面的时候就感觉不好了。
就那种根本不在同一段频谱上的感觉，你解释他说不对，然后就挑刺，nitpick，实际
上他也是屁都不知道。

闹钟把我吵醒了。星期三，有九点半的早会。以往还会在被窝里缓缓再起来，
但今天不同，马上爬起来，上网看看选举结果。TNND， 小树丛竟然破咒，
再次当选了。这下，切尼这帮人更能挟“多数票总统”而肆虐了。连Daschle
都栽了。郁闷。
去了学校，已经是九点三十五，但人还没来齐。看得出来，气氛比较诡异，
都是选举惹得祸。跟坐在旁边的来自美国南部的哥们比尔嘀咕了两句，比尔
对这么快就解决而不用通过法庭来处理的结果比较满意，但最后说了句，他
妈的，又让这帮“红脖子”赢了。
系主任进来，给大家散发了会议议程，有七项。我看看比尔，互相撇撇嘴。
又是一个长会，但据以往的经验，能完成三项就不错了。
果不其然，在第二项上，大家的分歧就开始大了起来。那个挑毛拣刺(nitpicker)
的又开始对一个文件上的措辞用语进行刁难。系主任今天好像是有备而来，
一句“那你觉得该怎么写”把对方的火力压了下去。这边葫芦下去了，那边瓢
又起来。不过这个瓢是个好瓢：好好先生开始对系主任起草的文件进行夸奖。
不过系主任似乎对吹捧不太在意，一句谢谢之后，就把话题转了。美国人也
一样，也有爱拍 |

any flaws in our demonstration (instead of absorbing the general idea) in

leagues so I might know a little.
Strengths- Kobe's number one stregth is his maturity. He is a lot more
mature than a lot of the college players and some NBA players as well.
