请大侠指教，最近看房子，预算有限，买不起好区的好房子。
现在看上了两个coop
一个在rego park，比较大，算是个deal，比市场价低1-2万，物业费较高，房子比较破
，地板，厕所都要重新装修。
另一个在jackson height，稍微小一点，装修的比较漂亮，可以直接住，比市场价稍高
，物业费很便宜。
主要是现在很忙，如果选择rego park，担心装修很费时间，很费钱。
而jackson height又觉得社区不太好。
ps. 宝宝还很小。
请问大家有什么看法，应该选择哪一个，非常感谢。

Good: people there appear more friendly than east/west coasts. The crime
rate is not as high as hyped in some media. Cost of living is low. 250K can
buy you a pretty decent single family house there. It has strong chemical
industry. You may find more opportunities if you work in the related fields.
Bad: Economy is going down. Some major companies moved their office away
from Cleveland; even some nicer university, like case western reserve
university has been affected to |

and forth.

agree. I guess when LZ said 4WD. he means really 4WD SUV/Truck.
On paved switch-backs, sedans are generally safer than SUV/trucks due to
lower center gravity.
if unpaved road (or no road but in open space such as Death Valley), SUV/
Trucks are nicer b/c less likely gravels/rocks will hit your bottom.
if no road & in mountain, both sedam / SUV are not safe at all. You need All
Terrain Vehicle for that purpose. |

1200 in University city, then you will have to park your car on the street
if you decide to keep it. A garage in university city is not cheap. In
suburbs, apartments are much nicer and neighbourhood could be much better.
Then you need a car, and also need to take the train to school, which is
about $100 for a monthly pass.

college time in Beijing years ago, where I tried YangRouPaoMo and RouJiaMo

LiangPi is great, YangRouPaoMo and RouJiaMo are super. Strongly recommended
the three. Other food are ok but not as good as these.

Devonshire & Bayard, even though 2 blocks away is much nicer.)
Option 2: Better community. Walking distance to grocery store. Lots of grad
students live around. Need to take bus to school (but time-wise similar to

a local day care center. The BH has nicer hardware, but the teachers are
apparently not experienced at all. Tured out we made a great choice. My

container store is another good place to go if you are handy, or, check

between cherry chase/stocklmeir-collins, stocklmeir might be better if
you have small kids:
1) no need to worry about schools until after middle school, which is ~
10 years away, who knows what's gonna happen.
2) (slightly) nicer neighborhood, since the houses/lots on average are
bigger.
3) if possible, stay clear of the high voltage power lines in cherry
