I recently went to both Shenzhen and Chengdu (Yes, I saw the pandas).
Two days in Shenzhen and a domestic flight non-stop to four glorious days in
Chengdu.
The Intercontinental Hotel in Chengdu where I stayed is widely considered
the very finest hotel in the world, right alongside the stunning largest
indoor sporting arena in the world.
Both of these clean, safe, beautiful glittering cities are way, way nicer

cities fit the bill, which are IMO nicer by a good margin. just take a
couple big ten cities to compare, Columbus OH and Indianapolis, have
everything you described and beyond. you'd better spend the same $$$ and get
a much nicer house in Columbus instead of getting stuck in that hole. plus
we enjoy the parade every year after beating wolverines to the dust in
Columbus. Gooooooooo, bucks!

nature of my work.:) There is also a cultural difference between American
and Europeans in terms of "niceness". If an American and a European are
