如果是Linux机器的话用命令netstat -tp, 可以显示类似如下内容。
本地哪个端口连了远程哪个端口都有了。都不用手工每台机器上放一个程序。
直接pdsh netstat -tp， 然后分析输出的数据就行了。
牛人用几行脚本搞定的事情外行往往需要花一个星期写很多行程序才能勉强弄出来。
再不济的自己搞不定还要以面试之名找人来搞，并且给出一个暴露自己水平的面试题。

netstat只是告诉你当前本机建立的tcp/ip connections, 包括本机

我按照上述instruction里: You can check if the p910nd print server is running
by typing the netstat -an command and checking if port 9100 is listening.
但是看不懂那个结果。。。
牛人指点一下怎么排查问题啊？

,但是看connection的流量正常,用netstat -n 得到下面结果,只有从新开机才行,断开连
接再连都不行,在关机的时候,出现end programme的窗口,但实际我已关闭所有应用程序,

OS: solaris 2.7 server
reboot之后, 我用netstat看socket的状况, 这时候
是htserver.4100....(htserver是这台机器的hostname. 4100
是一个server的端口). 这时候ping htserver
it will say:htserver is alive
但是, 大约55分钟后, 我用netstat看, 就变成了
cl188-33.invision.com.4100, 这是什么问题呢? DNS?
这时候ping htserver, it will say: htserver.xxx.com is alive
我今天一天就一直在试这台机器, 每次都是55分钟就会这样?
是我的solaris没配好? invision.com是公司的isp.
这个问题直接导致了我的一个database server 不能funtion,
因为它需要机器的hostname进行联接.

lsof might not be in the defualt path and installation

你是否觉得自己从学校毕业的时候只做过小玩具一样的程序？走入职场后哪怕没有什么
经验也可以把以下这些课外练习走一遍（朋友的抱怨：学校课程总是从理论出发，作业
项目都看不出有什么实际作用，不如从工作中的需求出发）
建议：
不要乱买书，不要乱追新技术新名词，基础的东西经过很长时间积累而且还会在未来至
少10年通用。
回顾一下历史，看看历史上时间线上技术的发展，你才能明白明天会是什么样。
一定要动手，例子不管多么简单，建议至少自己手敲一遍看看是否理解了里头的细枝末
节。
一定要学会思考，思考为什么要这样，而不是那样。还要举一反三地思考。
注：你也许会很奇怪为什么下面的东西很偏Unix/Linux，这是因为我觉得Windows下的
编程可能会在未来很没有前途，原因如下：
现在的用户界面几乎被两个东西主宰了，1）Web，2）移动设备iOS或Android。Windows
的图形界面不吃香了。
越来越多的企业在用成本低性能高的Linux和各种开源技术来构架其系统，Windows的成
本太高了。
微软的东西变得太快了，很不持久，他们完全是在玩弄程序员。详情参见《Windows编

后被拒的，不是浪费所有人的时间么？
对linux的要求不高，不过至少也要知道ls, ps, mkdir吧。regex月熟悉越好。对linux
熟悉会极大的增加productivity，尤其在分析和troubleshoot log的时候。
个人推荐：
初级: ls, ps, top, mkdir, chown, cp, mv, rm, kill, head, tail, more, tar,
zip/uzip, ssh, telnet。regex初级。如果这些都不知道开始工作了会痛苦一段时间。
中级：shell script, grep, sed, awk基本功能，regex中级。cut, sort, uniq, pr,
scp, rsync, df, du, date, free, traceroute, imstat, netstat, watch等熟练监控
linux系统健康命令。

先说amzn的录取比例。我看了一下过去一年的，SDE 1，2，3从简历到最后接受offer的
比例是3-4%。 onsite -> offer比例30%， 最后有大概60%的人接受。SDE1接受offer的
比例明显高。SDE3接受比例最低，估计牛人都去google了。
再说面试，就我们大组(>200人)来看，面试的题目实在是简单。电面一般是2 sum，
find 2 min number in array这种口水题。我偷的zhangbz的数组去重的题电面了十几

先看disk io
iostat?
在看database
再看network
netstat?
确定是那个问题，如果是设计问题， 再回到kill -3, core dump -> gdb.
但是话说回来， 如果production 没有楼主提供的那些方法，真他妈叫狗屎prod,是来
给人擦腚吧。
上production最好要有system monitor(appdynamics.com)之类的服务。
没有的话就suppose 没这个，没那个吧，哈哈 |
