how much does it cost to join the library?
If I just want to view those free books, does it cost to be a
netlibrary member?

public collection?
I did once on a computer, just search for "Unix" I can get
dozens of them and I could read them online. After I change
to another computer, login. I search for books with "Unix"
and I can find no match.
What's up with the search or setting? Any experience with
netlibrary's search function? Or should I join some
membership? I registered a free account there only.

发帖数: 101 | 7 不知道你那是怎么回事情. 偶的经验是在学校连接和在家里modem 连接是不一样的.
所以你如果是在家里. 最好键入如下连接. 然后注册. 就会成为library collection
和 public collection的用户.. 但是味精所说的90多本oreilly大概有60多本在偶的
系统理是private collection. 不知道是如何看的..

completely free, they got it from project gutenberg for free anyway,
by law they are not allowed to charage anyone for those books
uh? you misunderstood me...the books are downloaded to your HD and kept
there forever, depends on the membership,
you need to authenticate for the books once a while, but you don't need
to dl anything again, i think you can print 5000 words
the current e-book reader has some bugs, if i install too many books,
then it is dead, it even died after i installed only 10 b |
