论区以前常见的鞭辟入里的分析现在几乎看不见。有个帖子问新人玩cash game应该看
点什么书。然后有人回复说像Doyle Brunson的书的tight aggressive是old game了，
已经过时了云云。然后我就回复了“呵呵”
我一直觉得像Johnny Chen和Doyle Brunson现在仍旧是最好的牌手。不管是tournament
还是cash game能打赢他们的没几个。看high stake poker里面Brunson几乎每季都赢钱
。Chen在第七季OOP的情况下照样打爆Galfond。现在风头最劲的几个人当中能和他们相
提并论的也就Ivey和Isildur。像Dwan 和 patric antonius 的tournament严重短板，
至于negreanu和hellmuth的cash game就是搞笑。（如果让Dr. Giggy或者leatherass和
Negreanu玩cash game的话，前两个人应该会赢得非常轻松。）即使是Dwan和Galfond对

和某大名鼎鼎的pro玩一把都觉得有了吹嘘的资本。面对尤其是象Daniel, Gus，Allen
这样的aggressive，很多人估计都过于保守，over-think了一些牌，weak call了很多
牌，直到被磨得不行... |

overrated.
Certainly he is a great player, but I watched a lot High stakes poker, he
was very unlucky in that show, throughout the all the series, but he did a
lot of questionable calls as well and his reading on those pros were not
that impressive.
The reading ability he showed in those video are from WSOP, as we all know,
a lot of amateur like us playing there. Most of them are easy to read, IMO. |

少，最近online 玩得比较多,不过感觉没有online赢钱容易:(
书看了大概有5，6本的样子，平时也看cardplayer杂志，然后也有经常去２＋２看看讨
论啥的，有意识地提高自己的水平，特别是可能的leak.
曾经记得Barry Greenstein和 Daniel Negreanu都有提过，逐步提高limit，两人都有
把bankroll 提高到100k，然后到las vegas去验成色，然后输个精光，然后回来重新
build bankroll的经历。
我准备下周到las vegas去试一下，不过初步预算10k :)

few times...
isn't gus hansen a genius? he's the top backgammon/poker player in the world
, yet he's a huge loser in poker with -$10M loss. tons of other big name
pros "disappeared" too after a few years of hot runs, and current stars don'
t likely last for long.

起手，但是感觉侥幸心理比较严重，特别是看到自己有个大对就无视自己的kicker，输

pro can survive without staking, and some who got lucky like jerry yang ,
darvin moon of course.
online is a totally different story and a lot more easilier. with all
kind of buyin and volume, there are many pro MTT players before BF.

式不对吧……）
第一本是ed miller 的《Professional No-Limit Hold 'em: Volume I》。 应该说这
本书的出发点还是很有意思的。作者试图用stack to pot ratio（SPR）来处理poker当
中的各种可能的situation。这是这本书的特点，也是这本书没什么用的原因……现实
的情况比简单的SPR复杂的多，感兴趣的可以看Bill Chen的《The Mathematics of
Poker》。另外让我比较无语的是很多和stack size有关的interesting and
fundamentally important的concepts在这本号称专讲stack size的书里面居然完全没
有涉及。这个就是不能容忍的了。比如说100bb effective stack size， 为什么3bb
open 比5bb 或者2bb open要好。为什么3bet size是一般是10bb，4bet size一般是
