Fansari是据我所知US做光纤最早最好的了。这个东西仍然在研究阶段，即使是实际应
用，也是由大学为主挑头做的。公司里没有这个技术。
楼上那位说的都是传统做NDT比较有名的公司，但是主要使用已经成熟的技术。olson做
仪器，也做consulting。WJE的NDT只是很小的一个部门，3个人。CTL的NDT，长叹一声。 |

发帖数: 141 | 4 我PhD是做光纤传感的，测温度，应力，振动等。属于EE，applied physics,主要在实
验室做传感系统，也做过几个field test。比较喜欢偏应用的课题，如果做的系统能有
实际应用就会很开心。
最近在找postdoc的去向，看到这个教授

是在Civil Engineering,用光纤传感器做SHM和NDT
想问一下内行，这些课题有应用的前景没？就我自己做光纤传感的感受，大多都是在实
验室里固定条件下测测数据发paper了。

连engineer都不需要了，一个technician就够了，这就是薪水低的原因 |

昨晚做梦，显示梦见我们的NSF中了，我跟co-PI没人多少钱都看得一清二楚，好多啊。
然后接下来又梦见另一个PD告诉我我的proposal非常好，可惜里面有一个小错误，就拿
不到了。最后中的是两个刚毕业的中国夫妇，一人一个。

Can Non-derterministic one is used to compute the problem? yes, it can.

其他同学也挺好，丰富多彩么，比如说长短数学，函真假大刀，我都不觉得烦
长短数学乃哼哈二将，就是老一圈的春波，极端聪明过人，
按理说应该去万维，和那些棺材板闲庙瓜枪为伍，一块苟延残喘，等待中国的天灾人祸
人家跑到军坛来，蓬荜生辉么，比真假大刀更有趣，
大刀王五也是个有趣的人，很多信息，假大刀则有点略输文采

Academia is not just an abstract word. It includes everyone, student,
researcher or faculty, in its circle. We should try to uphold the tradition
and the high bar that has been passed to our generation. What those authors
did (submitting two identical papers) was absolutely wrong and an "overreact
" is due here. If I found my students did similar thing, I would send them
to honor court for sure. If they got corrected earlier, they might h |
