be in a pharmacy during a holdup confronted the robber as he tried to leave
with money and painkillers, and both were shot to death.

after being taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday, Nassau County

or west chester, the property tax in CT is about 1/2 - 2/3. Paying a few
hundred dollar more a year for a car is nothing.
a $1 mil house in Nassau would yield about $15K a year in property tax..
similar house in CT is only about $8-9K.. so in the end, it is still cheaper
in CT...

准备订个3晚上的Bahamas/Caribbean短途游，看了royal caribbean 和 carnival.
第一天都停Nassau岛, 第二天royal caribbean多停一个private岛，carnival没有（在
海上转？）价格差5、6百刀。
我们有老人和小孩，不知道哪个行程好一点。 Nassau岛上玩什么？老人，小孩哪些好
玩？
这两个船哪个好玩些呢？（虽然都是低价船）

时候我去了趟墨西哥，然后又去了趟巴黎。在他出生之后，我们着实手忙脚乱了一阵。
喘息未定，我还是想带他出去玩，给这个好不容易得来的三个月的产假画一个完美的句
号。老妈说，是你自己想出去玩吧？小娃儿懂个啥。
非也。其实让小宝宝早点面对世界对他的成长有很大的好处，虽然他可能什么也记不得
。只要爸爸妈妈陪在宝宝身边，他就不会对迥然不同的环境产生惊恐心理，相反他会好
奇地观察这个世界并很快适应。当然，我也喜欢旅游，并不希望因为宝宝的降临而停止
自己的步伐；早点同时出游对于彼此都是一个适应的过程。我们选择了巴哈马。
加勒比海一直是我们钟爱的地区。靠近赤道，从东部不用飞多远就可以拥抱夏天。巴哈
马是群岛组成，其中Nassau和Freeport有大型旅馆和赌博业，游客很多。我们这次选择
的Abaco相对来说laid back多了，没有旺盛的旅游业，但海滩很美，缓慢的节奏足够舒
缓绷紧的神经。那里的Treasure Cay据说是加勒比海最美的海滩。
带宝宝出游不是容易的事，光他的奶粉和尿布就占了大半个箱子。还要准备他的口水巾

4点启程，12点到登船处已经有很多人在办理手续开始上船了。
上去后先去吃饭，我们去的grand pacific, 是坐下来点菜的，上菜
比较慢，但是做的精致些，不急的时候去那里吃满好的。另外一个
经常去吃的地方是garden cafe，其实小孩子喜欢那里多一些，种
类多，拿来坐下来就可以吃，很随便。
以前每一次目送着大船从门前开过，这一次自己上到大船上了，很
新奇，到处去走走看看有什么好玩的。上船前就有研究这个船上有
个攀岩的墙，早已经跃跃欲试，走到那里发现因为天气原因不开，
于是想着明天早上一定要先来这里看看。
大船上上下下走了一圈，发现玩的多在12层往上，有游泳池，水滑
梯，乒乓球，高尔夫球，足球，篮球，网球场地。不过后来这几个
球基本上除了第一天刚上船有的玩，后来就都有人了。大船上人还
是满多的，尤其这个星期是满员。7层大厅相当于饭店前台，可以
问讯，定shore excursion等等。有个大屏幕可以玩wii，看电影，和

美国后院没下雪，天气还可以，但海水还是比夏天凉不少。有一次google largest
cruise ship，开始猜想是北欧什么的，一搜发现居然是佛罗里达出港的，就决定去一
次。风景还不错，出乎意料的是船上40多个同胞海员，每天都可以天南海北聊很多，很
亲切还长见识，比光看风景有意思多了。
海关偷拍。。。
ft. lauderdale出海，图纸上世界第一大游轮 oasis of the seas，实际第二大，因为
同级第二舰 allure of the seas 建成后，发现比首舰长了两英寸、50毫米左右。两艘
都是22万吨。

上船扔下行李直接上顶层甲板，看见荷兰航线，专跑环球航线的
图书馆

方开车不堵的话20分钟 我的观察是这里基本上是HOUSE 但是零星有几个APT BUILDING
我觉得楼上说的房租差不多 去法拉盛也蛮方便的 买菜之类的有韩国超市HMART 中国超
市 基本用品有STOP SHOP 都很平价 喜欢有机食品的话nassau county有WHOLEFOOD 喜
欢逛街的话AMERICANA MALL比较俗的大牌都有 自然环境也蛮好 绿葱葱的 非常安全 |

【侨报纽约网报道】夏天来了，一年一度的七月四号独立日烟花也要到了。纽约市
的独立日庆祝活动是美国人民和整个夏天最令人激动的事情之一。今年41届梅西独立日
烟火秀将继续在东河(East River)上空绽放。不过也不要忘了还有其他很多令人眼花缭
乱的小型活动哦，如康尼岛(Coney Island)的独立日烟花秀，还有我们最喜欢的屋顶酒
吧和派对。
独立日烟花秀时间
梅西独立日烟花秀将在东河上空绽放。开始时间为2017年7月4日周二晚上9点25分。
新泽西州泽西市第四届自由烟花节(Freedom and Fireworks Festival)也将于7月4
日晚间开始。
烟花表演持续时长约25至30分钟。
烟花秀地点
梅西独立日烟花秀的燃放位置是在东河的船上，区域分布从24街横跨至41街。
泽西市的烟花表演则将在新州自由州立公园(Liberty State park)点燃。届时可以
看到自由女神像边的海滨景色。

在网上大致看了一下DC周边的房价，50万以下几乎没什么选择。60万以下的，好像也没
有多少。我的标准只是3+ bedroom, 2+ bathroom, garage.
觉得比NY的nassau county还要贵。 这里$60万以下，还是有不少选择的。nassau
county已经是号称全美最贵的county之一。
不知道大家都住在什么地方？房子都是多少钱买的？
如果有熟悉NY的人，帮忙讲讲就更好了。 |

先看看房价
Nassau County，这是纽约近郊的好区了
现在house的median price 52万美元。

如果你往Jersey side走，出了都会区的近郊，房价比Nassau County还便宜。
从出了曼哈顿开始算，往西走40迈，就快到NJ和PA的边界了，那里的SFH 20多万美元。
你买一acre的地养马和草泥马,没什么大不了的。
纽约长岛的national seashore，比washington的强。
秋天出了曼哈顿沿着哈德逊河就是著名的新英格兰红叶。

深秋出了曼哈顿的GWB，立刻就是满山满野的红叶。

美国后院没下雪，天气还可以，但海水还是比夏天凉不少。有一次google largest
cruise ship，开始猜想是北欧什么的，一搜发现居然是佛罗里达出港的，就决定去一
次。风景还不错，出乎意料的是船上40多个同胞海员，每天都可以天南海北聊很多，很
亲切还长见识，比光看风景有意思多了。
海关偷拍。。。
ft. lauderdale出海，图纸上世界第一大游轮 oasis of the seas，实际第二大，因为
同级第二舰 allure of the seas 建成后，发现比首舰长了两英寸、50毫米左右。两艘
都是22万吨。
上船ing
上船扔下行李直接上顶层甲板，看见荷兰航线，专跑环球航线的
图书馆
5甲板中心商业区和餐饮区
傍晚出港

我3年前開始surf fishing所以還需要你們這些前輩多指教。
我的surf bag裡除了spro之外還有Andrus 有blue frog 和我自己綁的bucktail，鉤子
尺寸粗細都不一樣，Bucktail上的毛量也都不一樣。PorkRind，Ottertail,甚至兔皮的
trailer我也都有。只是照片裡的小Striper那天只咬paddle tail swimming shad和
curly tail trailer。
我住Nassau很少去Montauk追魚，反正就是就近釣一下，因為整個長島南岸北岸釣點
很多，每個地方都有fish holding spot.
John Skinner 和 John Demaio的兩本bucktail的書我讀了很多遍。書裡提到的方法我
也都嘗試過。我發現bucktail的retrieve在每種特定的環境都不一樣。Trailer的使用
也要看環境。我認為Surf Fishing沒有固定的規則，釣魚的環境決定釣具的使用和不同
的retrieve，例如Van Stall如果是在Montauk wet suiting絕對是最好的選擇。但... 阅读全帖 |

最近长岛nassau county在学校外马路边新加了70多个测车速的camera，开始严罚
school zone超速。搞得大家很不爽。限速20迈，只要超过30迈就罚$80。
据说目标是每年罚$25million。
这个是两党都支持的，cuomo签的法律。
nassau管这个的是共和党，具体说是pushed by Republican County Executive Edward
Mangano。竞选时说坚决不加税。可这个就是变相加税啊。 |

和总杆数最低。
可以根据差点让杆。 比如我10差点，你8差点。那么前9洞的1差点那洞，你让我一杆。
后9洞里2差点的洞你让我1杆。
nassau还可以press。
因为这个4人组里的，你的对手是其它3人，所以和每个人的差点调整都有变化。比较公
平吧。
你可以和对手设定赢一个洞多少钱。
同样，你可以和一个组员组成一个对，和另外2人的一个队，这样比。
这样其实最favor高差点的。
skins不行，skins基本上高差点还是送钱的，特别是差点差距比较大的，这个毕竟还是
个比实力的运动。
如果想打skins，算法是，一组人里的不重复的最低成绩是一个skin。比如一组人在第5
洞，一个是par，其他都是bogey，那么这个par就是一个skin。 如果2个人是par，那这
个洞就没skin。
先设定好一个skin多少钱，比如5刀。最后就是算每个人拿了多少个skin，其它人按照5
刀每个给钱。
有些时候为了favor高差点，可以设定prove的规则。比如某人在某洞拿了1个skin，那
