月感冒了一次，这几天又发烧了，还有黄色的脓鼻涕。我出国三四年了，很少感冒发烧
，想问一下抵抗力下降是因为用了nasonex 么？ 也请大家推荐一下更好的治疗过敏性
鼻炎的药。多谢 |

发帖数: 248 | 2 儿子6岁了，这大半年总是鼻子不通气，特别是晚上，白天也总是做吸鼻子的动作，抱
怨鼻子痒痒，并且养成了吸鼻子的不雅观的习惯。去看过很多次儿医，说是过敏性鼻炎
，每次就给开抗过敏的centirizine喝和nasonex spray。坚持用过一段时间，并不起太
大作用。而且用了nasonex以后，孩子白天容易鼻子干，流鼻血。晚上还是不见太大好
转。
家里也比较注意控制室温和湿度。儿子的姑姑和奶奶都有长期的鼻炎，我真害怕儿子一
辈子也像她们一样。大家知道我们这种情况，能不能看specialist，应该看那个科的医
生？ |

Very expensive.
It is the routine medicine that dr will prescribe. Bot our Allergy dr and
ENT dr prescribe this med for long term use.

including Singulair. We had seen all kind of specificity dr as well, the
lung dr, the ENT, the allergy and asthma dr. Very frustrating. They say it
could be
1. asthma
2. chronic nose infection
3. allergy
So they prescribed many medicines for every single possibility.
We had a air purifier, quite expensive, but not feel the difference.
Do you mind post the dr recommended air purifier?

三岁多查过敏结果无，四岁多找到第一个女ENT，跑了两趟，查不出啥，说只有等成长
。过了两三个月后找到同一个大房间的第二个老头ENT,直接就告诉是过敏造成的，并说
sleep study结果应该正常，过敏测试现在应该能查出来了（当时都是结果pending）,
并科普以下为什么这样,让停下humidfier(对过敏鼻子赌有严重的恶化作用，LD之前一
直坚持用了好几年)买了COSTCO $299 air purifier,开药，然后就是出小孩子晚上不怎
么大叫了，睡觉好多了。
过敏药有很多级别，不同类型的，有的根本不顶用。激素类药nasonex基本上就是过敏
症状一扫光，很厉害。没有办法，我们只能上激素药，虽然只有五周岁。
着。我在药店药剂师推荐的喷鼻子的药，昨天喷了症状略轻，不过也还有点堵。 |

吃中国的美国的治疗过敏的药 摸蜂蜜 摸芝麻油 都是稍稍减轻了症状
最近手里的药不顶用了 到校医院开了一种叫 NASONEX的喷鼻剂 很管用的 4，5天
喷一次就行（说明是说一天2次，后来我觉得没必要了） 自己觉得肯定有点副作用 不
过能让我正常工作也就行了 就是太贵80多 有保险能cover 80% 有严重鼻炎的
可以试试看～ |

medicines, such as Flonase. So all steroid medicines need
prescription, but I think people can buy similar nasal steroid

he can go see ENT(ear, nose, and throat) specialist,
if it's truly sinusitis causing the headache, needs to take care of the
sinusisit, take antibiotics, use nasal spray with saline, and also can use
steroid nasal spray such as nasonex(which is hideously expensive),
what you could also try is to get the sinus rinse kit from walgreen, i
forgot the name by now, but it's a combination of salt, baking soda, mixed
in lukewarm water and you can squirt it through nostrils, it will rinse
through sinus |

over the counter you can get Zyrtec and claritin, allegra and clarinex are
still needing prescription,
nasal inhalers such as nasonex and flonase and rhinocort might help,actually

before the allergy season. These are available OTC
- Nasal steroid spray, you can use fluticasone or nasonex. These need
prescription.
- For itchy eye, you may need an anti-histamine eye drop. Zaditor is the
only one available as OTC. Most of the eye drops are lubricants, and they
simply don't work. For severe symptom, you will need an ophthalmologist
visit for steroids. Steroids in the eye has a lot more adverse effe |

Claritin, Allergra, Zyrtec are all 2nd generation anti-histamine, which
have less drowsiness compared to 1st generation anti-histamine such as
Benadryl.
Zaditor is the only OTC anti-histamine eye drop that I am aware of.
There are others that require prescription.
More severe symptoms may require local steroid treatment, including
nasal spray (nasonex, fluticasone) and eye drops. Nasal steroid spray |

treatment are available over the counter. Besides 2nd generation anti-
histamine, ie Claritin, Allergra, Zyrtec, Zaditor is an effective eye drop
that contains anti-histamine.
One thing you cannot get OTC is nasal spray. Steroid nasal spray such as
Fluticasone, Nasonex are very effective and safe (don't be scared by steroid
, they are not the same as oral steroid). But they need a prescription. |

这个在美国去年变成了OTC
还有一种是Nasonex

* histamine
* cat
* dog
* feathers
* grasses (bermuda)
* molds (alternaria)
* trees (elm mix, birch)
* dust
* pollen
主要症状就是从鼻子堵塞开始，咽喉肿痛，睡觉不好，全身疲劳，办公室里全身感觉冷
，脚特别冷，常年感冒症状。上个冬季几乎一直是感冒症状，最后是忍的收不了，看了
PCP医生，给同时开了抗生素+flonase喷鼻子药，发现过去7，8年来从来没有那么舒服
过，听了喷鼻子药第二天有回到的状态对比，才明白了是严重过敏。现在喷flonase效
果很好。
5年前去找了当时PCP推荐，看的同一个过敏医，当时测试结果仅仅是花粉过敏。开了要
nasonex不顶用。后来去找个ENT医生，说是鼻子气流不畅，最终折腾一下，做了鼻腔通
气手术，手术之前的医生说法基本上手术一做，基本上把鼻子阻塞问题能根治。做得创
伤似乎很严重，鼻子血不拉及，在家里忍了三天之后才稍微好。结果发现没有多大提高。

到耳道里。我们的儿医建议用抗过敏的激素 （FLONASE or NASONEX) spray 控制，长
大以后腺样体缩小就好了。FLONASE 已经是OTC了，不要处方 |

冒几天过后，症状一般会好转的。
上面两个药俺给17个月小孩用过，但是人家是allergic rhinitis, moderate

out of so many different nose sprays, Rhinocort nasal spray is Class B
medication.
We usually prescribe Rhinocort nasal spray to pregnant lady and discontinue
their Nasonex or Flonase nasal spray. |

nasonex可以给两岁以上的用。
不过你最好是去过敏科那里给确定了是allergic rhinitis,否则别乱用药 |

the-counter过敏药和nasonex。刚用的确管用了一两周，之后就又不行了，医生也说不清
为什么。这个净化器是管一间房间还是整个house都行？

Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec) do not always work. Nasonex contains steroids and
can reduce swelling of you nasal passage. Other nasal sprays constrict
blood vessels and also reduce swelling. But these only make you feel better
but do nothing against allergy itself. You can take Vitamins and eat carrots
, honey as much as you want. You can choose to try acupuncture . But I doubt
