1931年被用来命名耶鲁新建的七个住宿学院之一。而Calhoun近年背运连连，是因为他

的说说：
Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
当仁不让的第一。很多人觉得节奏慢，比较闷，偏偏这就是我这一口。感情描摹极度细
腻，文笔非常优美，看到最后梦到母亲那一段都忍不住哭了，很长时间没有这样投入地
阅读了。看完接着看了作者的Little Friend和Secret History，相见恨晚。把这三本
书的纸质本都买齐了，极度期待她的下一本小说，但是估计得等很久。豆瓣上很多人说
写得不好，不排除有人的根本英语水平不够。:) 话说每次看到作者的照片就好奇，是
不是蕾丝边啊？怎么书的主角和叙述者都是男孩？

忘了是去年还是今年看的了，以前没怎么写过。描写印第安人生活的小说搞不好就写成
痛诉革命家史，一本血泪账什么的。这本写得角度独特。一者是从法律上出发，很有东
西让人思考；另一个是也算一本青春成长史，我比较偏爱的题材。情和理结合得很不错。

authoritarian government in Taiwan prohibited anything remotely related to
local affairs. I wanted to put up a poster "I love Taiwan; "No can do," I
was told. O, I hate the regime!

aggressive than the namesake vanguard funds. for example vanguard 2030 has
26% allocated to fixed income. But Fidelity 2030 has only 13% in fixed

（一） 为了快乐，忘掉过去。
年纪越大的，到了美国越是难过。还记得刚来不久，已过而立之年的我借了本叫做《
The Namesake》的小说。蜷在西晒溽热的小房间里窄窄的床上，读初到美国的女主人公
对丈夫无助地呼喊：“你快点毕业吧，我们赶快回家吧！”，枕沾湿了一片，分不清是
汗水还是泪滴。模糊的双眼已经无法辨识文字，索性翻过身子痛哭起来。想家，想爸妈
，想宽大舒适的床，和过去被人肯定的生活。
那时候，本不怎么爱哭的我常会为一点小事情落泪；晚上睡不着，常常清醒到天亮。无
眠的夜晚更是难奈和悲凉。有一次，夜里一点了，一对晚归的美国人在唱歌，听不清的
英文和笑声传过来，引了我一串莫名的泪水。起身看窗外的月亮和一幢幢陌生的房子，
