法，他们说，举债上限没有实际作用，且已沦为政治操作用途，可能因而带来破坏性的
经济后果。
美联社报导，纽约州民主党籍众议员纳德勒（Jerrold Nadler）表示，债务上限可以任
意改变，不会影响赤字，且已成为共和党“胁迫”美国以推动共和党政治议程的手段。
总统欧巴马本周稍早表示，他不会与共和党人协商债务上限，他说，调高16.4兆美元的
举债上限和避免可能发生史上第一次债务违约，应与减支谈判分开来谈。
美国自1939年开始订定举债上限。财政部表示，欧巴马政府为避免违反联邦举债上限所
祭出的非常措施，只能撑到2月中旬到3月初。

真是能颠倒黑白。当年如果不是民主党反对，现在留学
生硕博毕业工作，立马就拿绿卡了。还用扯什么排期呀h1呀.
只是不知道共和党这次上台，能不能重提并通过当年那个法案。估计也悬。

也许纽约移民太多，个人经验，没有那么容易让他们"责无旁贷"地即刻予以协助，但是
比起纽约的参议员办公室强许多。他们曼哈顿的办公室不太容易进，在移民局里面，访
问过一次（当时还有一个印度哥们在等待，看来他们也利用这一渠道）。和管移民的
officer有过不错的交流，所以后来只要合理，她基本都是当天回复和协助。尽管以我
的PD批的也不及时，但该办公室还是办事的;根据感觉，我的案件进展和他们向移民局
的request分不开。
再者，在请求他们协助的过程中，都对他们的每一次帮助大加赞赏，尽力感激，充分让
他们感觉到他们工作的价值和对我们的重要性。因此应当未来对于继续寻求他们帮助的
申请人会是一种积极作用。 |

长的低烧。许多心理学家研究了高温对心理的影响，读完他们的论文，我们更怀疑夏天
是不是有什么毁灭人类的阴谋。

说来年轻的朋友们可能不知道，过去的高考是定在七月份的，后来才改为六月，一个重
要的原因就是七月天气太热。
高温令人智熄，这可不是开玩笑。
2002 年的一项研究分析了过去 226 篇关于温度对表现的影响的研究，发现待在炎热的
环境 （32.2 度以上）会导致一系列的认知能力下降，尤其是推理、学习、记忆能力，
并且在炎热的环境待得越久，表现下降得越厉害 (Pilcher, Nadler, & Busch, 2002)。
所以啊，天气这么热，上班族们该打车打车，别心疼钱。表现好了，老板高兴了，你的
