发帖数: 586 | 1 以前进google scholar查看自己的引用都是进去查自己名字然后数一下。今天发现
scholar首页有个mycitation，可以选上自己所有的文章，然后就出一个citation报告
，还带histogram（见图）。发现这个太好了，不用自己数了。但是我被结果吓了一跳
，居然有400多，以前自己数的时候都是200多（都是数第一页上引用较多的几篇
journal paper，这个系统生成的包括所有的paper））。我有几个问题问大家：
（1）大家都用过这个东西么？可靠么？当然关键是移民局承认不。
（2）如果大家用过，不知道有没有把自引去掉的工具，就是给个他引的数据。
（3）还有就是大家看图里，有个“make my profile public"，我在想要不要让它
public了，移民局的人会不会上google来验证下？如果不Public是不是别人就验证不了。
如果大家对这个东西已经司空见惯请别笑话我老土，我是今天才发现。谢谢您的回复。 |

google scholar移民局承认的，google my citation新事物，不过没有理由怀疑不被承
认。唯一一个地方要注意是每个文章citation list出来，非英语的要翻译。
这个目前没有。也没有地理分布信息。

go from there.
Also, in this automatically generated list, there might be papers from
others or from your other materials rather than papers. You can manually
delete them as well (Check the box at the beginning of each unwanted
paper, and select "Delete" from the drop-down menu "Actions"). |

能不能加进去，刚看了Help貌似是不可以的，google index不到的就只能联系出版商弄

The citations are hard to collect. I still don't know how Google Scholar
does it. It seems that they mainly deal with online searching results,
rather than some official databases. |

看看自己领域里年龄、经历差不多的较牛的人的h-index，再考虑吹不吹罢。一个孤立
的数字感觉用处不大，得和别人比，搞个top %出来才好。
