I need to call another .swf file when a Dashboard button is clicked. Seems a
simple operation but I can not find how to implement it after google a
while.
Does any ppl here know how to do it? |

在Flex里面有一个SWFLoader的component，可以直接load swf文件。

for UI layout, as how people used to design/layout HTML pages. But there
still needs to be some bindings from XML elements to Java UI components so
that we can add UI logic, event handling, remoting, etc to the UI components
. That's exactly how Flex programming model works (MXML for layout and
ActionScript3 for programming components) and GWT obviously is going under
the same route. |

微软的SL有什么跟Google Docs比较的web app吗？
或者问具体点吧，微软的SL既然比js好，为啥他们的Bing Map要拿js来做，不用SL？
SL展示地图的Deep Zoom技术为啥不拿出来用在他们的Bing Map上呢？
要我说，killer app最有杀伤力，SL说服Flex／Ajax支持者的最好办法，不是口水，
而是做出一个能打倒Gmap的地图web app来。起码，要做一个别人没法取代的火起来，
Ajax/js有GDocs，Gmap，SL到现在为止，有啥？能有啥？会有啥？那个医药网站吗？
至于为啥大的web app更喜欢避免直接写js代码，我觉得这在某种程度上可以类比
微软的.NET平台的程序不会直接写MSIL代码。这不是因为MSIL有啥不好，而是因为这种
中间层语言不适合拿来写应用程序。js也是一样，直接用来做一段小的功能实现可以，
直接用来写大的应用不行。建立在js上的那些framework其实就表明了这个事实。

Dart在web前端不会太成功是由web的特性决定的。界面的产生一般有两种方式，一种用
语言直接建立 （.createXXX() 之类），另一种是描述式，大部分app的界面是第一类
，而HTML属于第二类，其他如Silverlight，Flex也是第二类。不是说HTML/
Silverlight/Flex不能用第一类方式产生，恰相反，web2.0时代不少架构走这条路，但
你看看当时红火的那些偏OO （dojo，MooTool， ExtJS etc） 的活下几个，都被
jQuery一统江山了。为什么？一个很重要的原因就是它们违背了web描述性的特点。
Designer就不用说了，developer虽然看代码没问题但还是更喜欢用HTML定页面结构，
因为很直观。js用来产生动态。当你看到（.querySelector(...)) 就会明白在web上面
HTML定义的结构是第一性的，js作用于其上，是从属性的，js的轻OO及不错的FP非常合
适这个角色。
