上午医生抽血，问我吃早饭了没有。我说吃了一点，还特别强调了一下 a little,表示
不会影响糖脂数值。医生接着问，吃的什么？我在想怎么说比较合适， 说soup，这和

响应afhei的号召，积极参与周五聚会喝酒聚餐玩杀人游戏。
跟hargen去超市逛了一圈，买了些菜和肉回来。本来想以排骨为主题，做两个菜。之所
以想到排骨，那是因为最近在网上跟一个哥们开玩笑说人家是“小排骨”。果然，在
Kroger还真看到了多年未逢的，千真万确的，鲜嫩的小排骨。于是拣了两盒买回来。
回到家，先把小排骨用清水洗一洗，用盐泡一泡，然后切块，用开水煮开去掉血水。
途中，打电话问afhei准备什么东西？pizza！顿时晕倒。临时决定改烧排骨汤。
把重新洗好的排骨放到高压锅，加生姜，蒜没，醋，料酒小火炖20分钟。
接下来是放入新鲜的香菇，和一根切成丝的胡萝卜，开锅慢煮。
切好的葱花和中国芹菜放在一小饭盒里，等到afhei家之后，把排骨汤煮开之后，再放
入，用来调节味道。免得放早了，时间一长，菜叶泛黄，蔫了，影响观感和味道。
另一个素菜是由king mushroom，虾仁和中国芹菜组成。king mushroom 对半切，然后
切片。虾仁用少些盐淹一下，再加少许淀粉作为锅芡。中国芹菜切段。
开炒的时候，先放油，少许蒜没炸锅。倒入虾仁 |

actually beef is1/2副扑克牌那么大, and I realize that it seems that 扑克牌
is your forever gold standard for beef, LOL
rice is not from 1杯生米煮熟, but (35+35)ml raw rice, which is 2.5oz
I forgot to quantify mushroom, which should be 3oz raw mushroom/person,
about 3g protein.
by the way, you can easily convert between metric and English unit using
google.
For example just google "70ml=? oz", it will do the job for you. |

最开始采蘑菇是跟个俄国女同事学的。NJ各个park和山头走了不少，最后觉得蘑菇最多
的地方是cheesequake state park，从edison沿GSP十几分钟就到。到了秋天，特别下
雨后，此公园到处都是蘑菇。九月份是最好的时候，十月后天气转冷就没有蘑菇了，八
月也应该有，但是因为labor day以前进去要交钱，我没有在七八月去过。
初学采蘑菇可参照下面的网页。

切记学会认清能吃死人的Amanitas的几个典型特征，其他的一般就算有毒也吃不死人。
可采蘑菇中最容易辩认也不会搞混的是Boletes和CORAL FUNGI（见所给连接图片和介绍
），我最开始只采这两种。
Boletes帽顶是棕色，帽底一般是黄色海绵状，有的会偏绿。不要摘帽底是橙色或红色
的。这种蘑菇最容易辨认，味道也极佳。初学才蘑菇者最好先从bolets开始。不过
bolets因为跟枯叶颜色相似，不容易一眼看出来。

是自己做省钱又好吃。
今天又做了我的FUSION PASTA，早上做的，晚上带到同事家当晚饭吃的。让很多人尝了
尝觉得很不错，所以把我的RECIPE放在这里。夏天到了，这个PASTA适合带去PARTY，或
者PICNIC；做起来很快，味道也不错。
原料就是WALMART里的SHELL PASTA一盒（89 CENT），MUSHROOM CREAM一大罐（1刀2左
右），毛豆若干，中国香肠两根，BLACK PEPPER少许。
PASTA水里煮15分钟到软。香肠切丁，和毛豆一起煸到熟；加MUSHROOM CREAM，注意搅
拌，建议用不粘锅，放入PASTA搅拌，加BLACK PEPPER。关火。
大家可以自己发挥，比如好了加香菜，或者里面加虾仁之类的。味道不错的。我通常不
喜欢吃CREAMY的东西，所以就自己弄了这么个FUSION出来。

我的是借了朋友书上的recipe.打字太慢,给你照了图片上来.
pizza的内容,我自己发明的.呵呵.
第一个是放了切片的1/3磅mazzarella cheese,然后摆了ham,cooked bacon,half
cooked bell pepper, half cooked onion, cookied mushroom,然后上面撒了1/6磅的
切碎的cheese.建议你别这么做,我放的东西太多了,其实少放点可能更好吃.
第二个是放了切片的1/3磅mazzarella cheese,然后中间是上个pizza没用完的省下的
mushroom + 1/6磅cheese 碎末,然后外面一圈是cooked spinach,用sun dried tomato
点缀了一下.
然后我用的是pizza stone,kitchen store都有卖的.烤箱里面放石头进去,预热500度,30分钟,然后把pizza挪上去.
我带过cheese,没人抓我,呵呵.不过后来发现国内有的卖,就是太贵了. |

1. Maggiano's Litty Italy，这是我和老公每周都去报到的餐馆，地理位置好，在
Tysons Galleria里面，逛完去，去完逛都可以。意大利菜，family friendly，菜好，
里面的服务更好，让人真的每次去都特高兴，我婚宴都是摆那里的来着。Maggiano的菜
是除了entry，什么都好吃，appetizer最好，很多海鲜，比如caramari，crab cakes（
一般饭店这个都是entry，它是appetizer，两个lump crab cakes，价格是12.95，超值
），steamed mussel，stuffed mushroom，都是我们常点的，Maggiano的特色是pasta
，有家常和特色两类，家常的那些它常年有点一个，送一个回家吃的promotion，也就

can be recognized as good mushrooms. Special means they look very special or
grow in a special place. I remember one always grow under a certain kind of
tree. Another one is light green with dark green dots on it. They never
pick up the mushrooms in the above picture which looks very common. |
