There are too many people, but you can hardly find some colleagues in your
field, since some famous guys only attend these meetings when they are
invited.
But, anyway, some like it. |

MRS meeting is good, but I don't like it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~皆可以改，偶在06Fall给的talk和交时的abstract title就
不一样，虽然结果差不多，但后来发现原来title不很准确 |

aiche，mrs，acs，ecs 这些大会就是开着玩玩
又看了一下，他们网站上是说直到开会前两天都可以改。。。
也许不能改title，但是abstract肯定是可以改的

sections(SiGe, III-nitride, II-VI staff), there is almost no student talks
at all. Not even postdoc talks. After these lengthy invited talks from
charles lieber, PD Yang, Samuson Lars,.... , the major players (professors,
researchers from national labs and industries like HP, IBM) will show their
last progress. No time left after that.

个人租一个标准间share费用。我已经订了一家goodnite inn in redwood city(4/9-4/
13 5nights), 每晚只要
$39.5，还有免费wireless internet和游泳池，出门就有大巴直接坐到SF Marriott(
conference hotel)，不过只有一张queen size(我们可以商量一个人睡睡袋一个人睡床
)。以前旅游时在那呆过，感觉很卫生干净，服务也很好。My first night will be in
Mosser hotel in SF($75, right next to SF Marriott for convenience) if you
wanna share you're also welcome.
哎，SF房价太贵，开会附近的酒店居然要一两百多刀一晚，特别小，还不能上网。
