Small Mouth，竟然有人出来反驳，还声称是老钓鱼的，Faint。
看人是不是嘴大应该没问题吧，咋看鱼是不是嘴大就这么成问题呢？
Large Mouth Bass的正中一般有一条很明显的黑色的线，而且嘴确实比较大，像是这两
个：
Small Mouth Bass种类比较多，楼主钓的这种是Small Mouth的一种，没有明显的体线
，而且嘴确实小多了：
如果从形态上还不容易区分的话，那这个Minnesota Department of Natural
Resources的网站应该更权威一些：

I am a little bored of just getting large mouth, and wish for walleye and
small mouth. I know walleye is about location.
How about small mouth? how to find them and what kind of hooks or lure?
Those use for large also apply?

ps. I caught a 17 in small mouth before. Only one, and it was infinitely
more fun than large mouth. |

只做了mouth evaluation，就是大概检查一下没洗牙。又约到今天去洗，结果洗完结账
的时候我被告知做的不是routine teeth cleaning，而是full mouth debridement。保
险不cover这个，要我自己付全部大概$190. 有些问题想不明白，请这里的专家指点！
我很生气，第一,我事先根本不知道是要做什么full mouth debridement，以为就是做
routine teeth cleaning。如果他们事先告诉我的话，我会去seek second opinion。
这样做完才跟我说，不是等于抢钱吗？？？
第二，我上网查了，这个full mouth debridement是针对那些很久没有洗牙的人做的，
目的是做完这个后可以对牙齿有个clear evaluation,方便做routine teeth cleaning
。 可是我去年才做过deep cleaning，我很怀疑到底有没有必要作这个debridement??

人家那个Minnesota的网站（BTW,另一个人提供的网站的说明文字其实是一样的，只是
没有具体地标线），明明用的是圆弧的尾端，而不是腮帮子的尾端，如果非要很严谨的
话，也应该是按照附件【1】的。你画的是尖角的腮帮子了。
其实人家标准的真实用意是丈量从嘴角到鱼眼的距离，你这用腮帮子的简直是胡搅蛮缠
，那鱼张开嘴的时候嘴角会是你画的那个尖角么？Faint。
况且标准说了是“Way beyond”，是真正用来表述大嘴的定义。我原来的第一眼的直觉
就是那个鱼的嘴太小了。
再说了，提供一串Small Mouth Bath的图片吧，“Somerville 大嘴记”里楼主贴的是
纵纹不明显的Small Mouth Bath，否则按照你的画法，那这个网站的第一个图片就应该
是Large Mouth Bass了，见按你的方法标记的附件【2】，Faint。

i also no longer try too hard to get people into the game. in the beginning,
i couldn't believe how much i could benefit from this and wanted to share
it with everyone.
like someone else mentioned upthread, there are tons of people who think
they know it all already. either that or they don't understand so they would
rather just turn a blind eye to what's out there.

然后他的嘴巴张开的时候就会有blood。在他nap time 没有 listening的时候。
就是这样中英文夹杂的今天睡前问他一天在学校的流程的时候。
家里从来没有跟他说过剪刀可以剪嘴巴之类的。告诉过他用剪刀要小心，因为剪刀很锋
利，如果剪着手了会hurt，会流血。大概有一个月没有在家用过剪刀了。
估计娃也吵得厉害了不过对这种威胁有点怕怕的。
不知道该直接跟他的老师谈，还是直接找director。。。

就先去了。挂上rubber worm，顺着湖边钓了大约20分钟，没有咬钩，慢慢来到了一个
平时不喜欢的钓点，水草多，甩了 几竿，就准备离开，最后一甩，感觉似乎勾到一树
枝，笨拙沉重，F－word还没出口，“树枝”猛的窜出水面，一条bass，个头不小。赶
紧再来一次 set hook。然后放心遛鱼，期间这家伙窜出水面4－5次，好几次朝这一
deck下跑，还好用了soft rod，控制住了，由于用了4LB的mono，不敢太心急，大约3－
4分钟过后，这家伙精疲力竭，被轻松拿下。目测大约15－17寸，不是很喜欢LM bass，
也就没再多看。用一小段线拴在岸边，有甩了10分钟左右，也没见朋友来，收竿回家。
由于不是特别大，好长时间没吃bass了，fillet完后，正准备扔掉剩下的骨头和头，突
然发现这家伙的嘴特别，地包天，又一看，小嘴，是的，一条small mouth mass，是我
有史以来钓的最大的SM bass，后悔啊，没照相，还好，鱼头还在，留了个纪念。大约
15－17寸，3－4磅，
后悔啊，这么 |

其实你应该心知肚明，用手指轻轻碰一下它的下颌就合上了，几乎不会对嘴角位置有影响，这应该是常识吧。不信照照镜子看你微张的嘴角，不管你怎么调整镜子的位置，会一会跑耳朵前面，一会跑“很”后面么？
"Back of Mouth goes way beyond back of eye" -- 体会一下“way beyond”的含义，... 人家的定义就是针对你这种人的，况且Minnesota的那个网站上的图片上的鱼也是嘴巴微张的，呵呵。 |

，5分钟后，胳膊已经酸了，仍旧看不到影子，也不洗腮，我定住杆头，线在水里有动
静，告诉我不是挂了，于是继续拖，收线，竿尾抵住下丹田——第一次啊！竿子至少弯
了100度，胳膊酸了，汗如雨下，我的儿，要不放你走吧～别给我竿子搞断了……定定
神，继续收线，只望一睹其真面目，感觉大概拉回来离自己差不多有3～5米了，就差Y
的显身了，啪！8磅的线断了……
