is in China now.)

这本书出来时候因为觉得是中国人教育出天才孩子之类的噱头，就特意绕着走。最近是
看网上大家都在说怎么教育小朋友成才，我现在也有女儿了，所以就想看看有什么可以
借鉴的。看了之后感慨良多。
也许Amy Chua作为移民第二代，有点太过美化中国父母的棍棒(至少是负面为主的）教
育。这种方法对于比较皮实不太计较的孩子（看看Amy自己都承认自己不太具有同情心
）也许还是有点用的。而对心灵脆弱敏感的孩子，那种心理摧残实在是太大了。敏感的
孩子如果在父母那里得不到安慰，又没有朋友可以理解帮助他／她，心理很容易走极端
，甚至以后脱离了父母的管制，影响也会伴随终生。
如果我们承认Amy个人还是小有成就的话，那么其实这些成就很大程度来自于她的从小

大结局之前，大家早就认同了robin/barney了. ted虽然最早见robin而钟情，爱的天昏
地暗，可是生活不会因为你痴情，就一定如你所愿的。生活就是生活，it's
bittersweet and full of surprises。好在大家都找到了两情相悦的伴侣，robin找到
了barney,ted也遇到了为他定制的tracy. 正所谓好人终究有好报，包括ted,robin,也
包括barney. 这个结局并不是最理想的，也不是事先计划好的，但是很有嚼头，很有味
道和哲理。
大结局倒好，把用了一个season铺垫出来的BR婚礼，几句话就离婚了，说明了看上去多
靠谱的婚姻，也是说散就散。然后，把老妈也是几句话就说死了，可怜ted等了三十多

Parents are mentors to their children. As a parent, she can "PUSH" her child towards "success", or she can "LEAD" her child towards success. It is a matter of choice. I am not sure calling her daughter "garbage" is a way of leadership.
Oh maybe I shall forgive her because she is a law professor -- lawyers' words cannot be taken at their face value. |
