双方的性别定义，在性别角色越来越淡化，社会包容度越来越高的今天，已经不成为界

让我失望和震撼的是其中一个配角的大独白（就是在政府工作工作被威胁的同志board
member). 我不解的是gay politics 为什么要把gay 和 Promiscuity 划等号，不能随
意的sex就失去了终身奋斗的目标。我对promiscuity绝对没有道德批判，但是gay is
more than that. protected sex or monogamy就有那么难么？
八十年代处的同志环境真是可怕，大难当头，普通同志沉迷于享乐主义，同志活动家纠
结于路线，各种closet gay， 市长和市长助理对同志危机的各种漠视就更让人失望了

的体无完肤。人说，政治是妥协的艺术，民主是妥协的制度。我深以为然，没有妥协，
就只剩下战争。Ned的字典里没有“妥协”一词，一味个性的张扬冒进，除了消耗团队
仅有的社会资源，一无所得，最终落得被组织和朋友所抛弃，惨淡收场。
在当时极端恐同的大环境背景下暴露不同常人的性倾向无异于政治/事业自杀，换做谁
也会惶恐。害怕"出柜"的Mickey其实一直用他自己的方式和影响力在一个相对高的政治
层面里推动同志平权。所以当他意识到自己很可能是被政府利用，变成迫害同志权益的
工具时，会情不自禁老泪纵横，这可是大大有违他的初衷。
至于影片中所表现的同志间“放纵”与“乱性”其实大可不必泛道德化。同性性行为的
除罪化是经过广大同志前辈们几十年来长期斗争和运作争取到的，在平权历史进程中是
具有里程碑的意义。影片以1981年AIDS的爆发为线索，此前一年也就是1980年影片的发
生地纽约州才刚刚废除了Sodomy law。所以对于Dr. Emma提出的通过禁欲防范AIDS的措
