马哈西禅师实际反对修四禅八定，而且他也讲明了原因。
他说根据禅师的统计，在这个时代，只有不到2%的修四禅八定者从止禅升到观禅，其余
全部被止禅给迷惑了。他建议越过四禅八定，直接进行观禅，马哈西的禅法，也叫干观。
他的这个观点，我比较同意，我个人认为，被止禅迷惑的，绝对不止98%，恐怕是99.99%
他说的那个2%，可能是针对南传里面先修止禅，再修观禅的修行者。
在大乘和密乘里面，由于佛陀的内观几乎已失传，所以中招率高得厉害。

先止后观的行者很多都陷在定中出不来，前功尽弃，这个大毛病大乘讲的很少，
就是南传里，真正修内观（干观）的，也主要是缅甸的禅师如马哈希一派的 （其实就
是缅甸帕奥禅师也不是纯粹的内观），泰国的阿姜查，阿姜李,阿姜摩诃布瓦等等我个

我对经文的解读与师兄不同∶
说老死厌患，离欲，灭尽，是名法师；说生、有、取、爱、受、触、六入处、名色、识
厌患，离欲，灭尽，是名法师。
是指「说的是解脱法」，就是法师。解脱法是∶正观缘起而对无常法厌患，离欲，灭尽
，正向涅盘。
当然能以身证得解脱法，是更殊胜的法师。
对照南传更明白:
If a monk teaches the Dhamma for the sake of disenchantment, dispassion, &
cessation with regard to aging & death, he deserves to be called a monk who

我对维特根斯坦一直不太感冒。不过昨天看了个8g，太特么神／牛了。。。看完很虚幻。
书作者，就像这里被评价的有点夸张。
不过一战、二战之间的奥匈帝国／奥地利確是很有趣。
顺便再隆重推荐一下，我成年以后唯一记得有印象的长篇小说，奥地利作者robert
musil 的《the man without quantities》（中译：没有个性的人）。
ps，维特根斯坦弟弟paul wittengenstein的故事里，我偶像Prokofiev还友情出演了。

为什么没有我偶像maurice ravel呢？呃，以前就听说paul介个左手刚擎家，当时还想
ludwig witetngenstein他弟很牛阿，看prokofiev的评价，凡事都抗不住有钱。。。

violence. I suspect this brawl must somehow involves money (not management)
and how money is distributed. Very interesting. Monks are not supposed to
have any earthly desire such as women and money. But apparently, they do
have, at least some of them, I mean those who brawled do have desires that
they shouldn't have. Funny. |

due to the “deteriorating outbreak” of the coronavirus, according to a

3∙14骚乱与1992年的洛杉矶骚乱有相似之处，这对中国和世界都是一个警示。挑
起这些事件的人都使用了争人权、反歧视、争取自由和正义等理由，然而广泛的抢劫、
纵火、打砸、伤害生命却是事实的真相。在洛杉矶，白人、朝鲜裔、黑人的店铺被洗窃
、砸烂、烧毁，53人丧失生命，许多人受伤。在拉萨，20座建筑被烧毁，908家店铺、
120间房屋、7所学校、5家医院被砸烂，银行被抢，许多车辆被烧，18平民被杀害或烧
死，400多人被打伤。洛杉矶和拉萨的骚乱者做了同样的事：他们从店铺里拿走所有他
们能搬动的东西，殴打或者干脆杀掉妨碍他们行径的人，烧掉所有他们拿不走的东西。
两地骚乱者的行为都具有仇富特征，表现出渴望通过剥夺他人一夜暴富，以及毁灭一切
他们无法占有的东西的疯狂。在这种情形下，中美两国政府应对国内暴力骚乱的选择基
本相同。这说明仇富情结是社会心理现象，存在于所有种族、民族文化群落、国家和社
会之中。产生仇富情结的原因远比族群关系复杂，其强大的破坏力不容低估。

If a monk receives my donation and spends on a prostitute, I may condamn
this monk for being dishonest and betraying his religious doctrine, but I
can't hold Buddha accountable.
In the same way, I can't blame Allah for a crazy Muslim killing the
