我的故事大概就是一个盲目自信的懦弱的人遇到挫折了吧。现在是加国top3一所大学EE
的一年级博士。之前在加国另外一个学校拿到硕士学位。之前因为学术上做的比较顺，
硕士在老师的帮助下发了几篇论文，加上来自外界的认可，就盲目认为自己会在学生上
很顺并坚定走这路。然而，在来到现在这个好很多的学校之后实实在在发现自身水平到
头来只能混在这样的top工程系里：新老板非常催工作催得非常厉害，完全不给休息时
间，组里的人都是一周工作七天。去年12月27日还有组会，他本人是个超级工作狂，并
且希望学生和他一样。课业非常繁重，还要顶着压力做科研。第一学期就写了一篇会议
论文，但他还是很不满意。当时我请求说我有三门课加上三个考试，能否暂停科研一两
周，他反驳说他当年四门课加科研，还当面发怒几次，并且质疑我的硕士论文是如何做
出来的（总的说他很bossy，我defend自己他逐条反驳）。第二学期我顶着压力努力工

Jeremy Bonderman的王牌之路，就像則勵志小說或一部熱血漫畫。很多人都知道JB有
閱讀能力障礙(dyslexia)，他的大腦難以辨別形狀的差異導致他看捕手的暗號也有些困
難，他能不能成為一位好投手，也打上了一個大問號。
M.Lewis的"Moneyball"也提到這位讓Billy Beane氣得摔椅子的投手，因為當時
A's的首席球探用第一輪第26順位選進了這位高中投手。錢球故事就不再此贅述，
只是後來Beane有在Moneyball出版後向媒體(DETNEWS)澄清他書裡的說法並不完全
正確，他表示當時的憤怒(frustration)跟Bonderman無關，而跟第10順位先被太空
人挑走的Chris Burke有關。

He had to send cash to Cards on Holliday. Nobody overpaid him.
That's not very bad. Look at his own contracts for Eric Chavez
and Bobby Crosby. These 2 trash players combined make
more than Halladay. They would be much better if Beane
could keep using PED as his "moneyball". |
