amazon Mom一年的free 2-day shipping benefits 前几天已经到期了，不知道对我有
什么影响。 有两个问题：
（1）如果我现在用以前的subscribe & save的尿布，价钱上有变化吗？我的理解是s&s
反正也不是free 2-day shipping, 价格上应该是一样的。不知道amazon上free
shipping的门槛是多少？我不需要快递
（2）如果用subscribe & save去买新的尿布（不是以前买过的），又有什么影响？

apply折扣，你可以在这14天内把你想要买的东西都加进baby registry里面去，等到14
天过后，就能在你自己的registry的页面看到apply 15%的按钮，注意每种产品多选几
个backup，因为不是所有的东西都qualify这个15%的折扣的。一旦你选择apply 15%的
折扣之后，就不能再加东西进去了，之前加的能有折扣，所以apply之前把东西都选好
，需要一次性购买。
至于mom的20%折扣在尿布和wipes上面的，只要s & s就可以了，开通mom就能用的 |

As my mom mentioned, it was pretty easy.
The time slot she reserverd was on 8:00am. She arrived at the consulate around
7:00am, waited in line, was issued a number. Then handed in the documents at
about 8:30am, entered the consulate after 9:00am, and actually got interviewed
after 9:30am. The visa officer is a 20 something young girl, very kind, well,
my mom's point of view.
There were total 4 questions:
1. Why do you want to come to the States?
2. When did your daughter |

got denied 6 times. It's a long story, hope it can help others. They've been
in the US twice before, and each time they stayed almost a year. That's the
main reason they got denied before. This visit my parents tried their 1000
together back in 2002. After they got denied, they tried several times
separately, and my dad got his at his 3000. And my mom tried five times in

Some basic info about myself: I invited my parents to my wedding, I'm on F-1
visa, never changed school, I went back China twice. I have two sister in
china and both are married.
My mom's first interview was on April 6th. The VO was a fat woman, she asked
quite a few questions such as

My friend told me that if my Mom wanted me to come to the States again
before her visa expired, she needed to stay in China for at least 82 days.

前些天在西来寺看禅画，听住持讲道，诸多自己的想法在内心翻滚，于是边听边不禁莞

想自己，没有能力经历那些震撼的大场面，就用心剖析身边的细微世界吧。

eligibility requirement等等可以寄给你，再和当地负责enrollment的机构对质~~ 也
许本地的人弄错了呢。。。有些政府办事人员很糊涂。。。
关于其他可能的项目，推荐拨打2-1-1信息电话，直接按211，拨号就好（像拨打911一
样，呵呵），表怕，这个211是unitedway他们基金会设立的免费信息中心，接线的都是
接受过训练的信息咨询员，交代情况之后会给你一些机构的名称和联系方式，可能是
nonprofit organizations也可能是政府机构，之后，顺着记录下来的电话挨个打过去
看看，当然需要再次和有关机构交代身份收入等情况，询问是不是有更多的福利或者
service programs你朋友qualify，如果是的话，相关机构的caseworker应该会帮助做
referrals~ 比如也许你问到mom不能申了，还可以申其他的同类programs，有些福利项
目是容易不为人知，多问无害。。。 |

that now i am by myself, nobody took care of me, nobody even talked to me
when i was laying in bed, having a fever.
But when i was sick at home, my mom would cook really good things for me to
eat and she would take very good care of me . Sometimes i would even enjoy
being sick better than a normal school day ,just because of that :-)
