light. From outside, I can tell it's a well made car. Doors seams fit with
body perfectly with less than 1/8" gap. -- far better than my Hondas. No
misalignment. My Alabama made Hondas, on the other hand, door gaps are
around 1/4". Doors and panels are misaligned. I had to take to body shop to
fix it. |

如果是，可能有2个问题，一个是belt 磨损或太松了，该换了，一个是misalignment，

前几天发现车启动后有“滋滋”的噪音，根据修车铺的意见，大致诊断为drive belt问题
按照网上的方法，给belt涂上肥皂或浇水，声音会消失，但很快又会出现
很可能为chirp，原因是misalignment（两周前做过一次alignment）
但奇怪的是，这个声音并不像网上描述的那样，加速会消失
恰恰相反加速才会出现，idle没有或很少的噪音
此外，这个噪音不会随着车温度升高而消失
仔细看了一下drive belt，没有发现明显的纵向裂纹。
belt应该没坏。
如果是tensioner坏了，会不会出现这样奇怪的现象？
实在是百思不得其解，各位大侠请指点一二，不胜感激 |

太老的车要小心tie rod和joint彻底磨损了造成misalignment，最好去先做一个

您只从照片就能看出密度强度和角度来决定这不是一个好的 subframe，也算是厉害。
实验室都不用买仪器了，直接发个照片给你就可以决定是否合格了。
是不是越部件多就越不寒酸？
你看一眼就是到是便宜破铁，不是什么高强度pressed steel? 你确定么？
subframe最重要的是要避免misalignment,节点多其实有风险。过个pothole或者剧烈震
动那些节点都可能出现松动。好的subframe能经历这种折腾，还能有强度提供support.
这种理论是对的，但是可恨之处就是你把自己主观猜测加到一些基本理论一起搬出来
，这样实在是容易蛊惑无数你的拥趸。你要是当李洪志的角色应该不赖。基本理论用在
自己手里 配上 网上 ebay的2006年W221加长Limo的照片来忽悠的一些缺乏独立思考的
人的无数膜拜。倒也是个角色。
多静心找点直接的测试来证明什么论断。别用一些从照片看来推测的材料是破铁然后在
这个assumption 上面推出无数理论。

not my interest to pick sides, but I had to replace my Michelin tires after
driving 40k miles, and it is pretty common to do it at that mileage.
if you don't feel like sears did it right, just ask them to do it again.

担心这个主要原因是视觉效果，minivan后面空空的，感觉不安全
特别是bumper位置低，怕bumper misaligned，不能有效阻止撞击
pilot这类mid-size suv的一点优势就是屁股高，bumper可以对齐
另外遇到sedan追尾，是后车 under-ride,这对前车是个优势
不过很多mid-size suv的第三排乘客距离后门太近，很大程度抵消了屁股高的优势
其实相对类似高度的sedan，minivan的第三排不见得比sedan第二排危险
sedan第二排到尾部的距离可能稍微长一点（compact sedan可能更短）
但是minivan的后面是一整圈钢，sedan的trunk只有半圈
还是强多了
我有朋友坐老很老accord里面，等红灯被后车40mile追尾
trunk瘪了，小孩坐carseat没事，后排大人没有直接撞击，就是头部因为加速不舒服
我觉得minivan只会更好，加速也会慢很多 |

向盘车子会向某一边转。
也许你问balance？walmart能干。如果是轮子balance不好，开车到一定时速范围内的
时候方向盘会抖动。
