MN after graduation, in which case Univ. of Minnesota may be a good choice.
But if OP wants to keep his post-graduation options open, I think Vandy is a
safer choice.
Then again, my opinion may be biased because I went to a school in the South
and liked it. |

paying $65k more for Vandy. I am not sure where these two schools are ranked
now, but when I was in law school several years ago, both of them were in
somewhere between 15 and 20. Neither is national (only TOP 14s are), so
normally you need to rank in top 1/3 (maybe a bit higher for UMinn) of your
class to have a decent chance to get a BIGLaw job anyway. Now, since you
have a Ph.D. and want to do IP, you should be fine as |
