看了《家用电脑》第七期上的《DIY Windows98千禧版》一文，觉得可能有
不少人对Windows
Millennium不太了解，所以打算在这里向大家介绍一下Microsoft的这个“特殊
”的Windows版本。
微软原本的开发计划是同时推出商业操作系统Windows2000（NT4.0的替代产
品）和基于NT内核的Windows Millennium，但后来此计划改变了，变成了大家现
在所知道的，Millennium依然是一个基于Windows95内核的旧的面对消费者的操
作系统。实际上，在去年微软就已经向微软产品β版测试者发送了Windows
Millennium的测试版本，并开始就这个产品征求修正意见。
微软把Windows Millennium的市场目标定为：稳定性、轻松的家庭网络功能
，更好的数字媒体工具，更加有趣的游戏和更方便可靠的Internet工具。对每一
个Windows版本微软都会给它一个“口号”（还记得Windows95的“Works

傍晚才到, 拿到行李打上车, 居然花了1个半小时. 赶到旅馆太阳都下山了. 饿着肚子
去了趟Millennium Park, 感慨实在是没有施老师的好运气. 尼玛那真是people
mountain people sea 啊, 憋个没人的空档真不容易, 还老有外地游客大大咧咧都走过
我长爆的镜头.
另外,不知本版哪位佛爷今在那拍婚纱照来着...拿着那种巨大的LED灯.

发帖数: 1964 | 16 刚刚去试琴，弹了k5,k3,还有两架较早的没有millennium III 的models （但
还是新的）.总感觉没有m III的好像要灵敏些。特别是弹海顿的sonata. 可是为什么
dealer和kawai网页上说有 m III 的更灵敏触感更好呢？难道还是和个体有关？
难道只有在grand piano上m III 才发挥优势？
不过K model个头大点，声音要饱满一点。K5的bass部份很不错了，几乎接近小grand
piano了，赞阿。音色和强弱控制也easy。不错。
另外，店里有好多中国产的Cristofori，不是我不支持国货，Cristofori真的很差，貌似不怎么professional。看中它多半是想拿钢琴当家具的。
还试了一架Boston的grand piano.声音不好，既不如kawai也不如steinway，不过，可能是个体的关系。触感和kawai差不多。
好想买琴啊。。。可惜刚攒的买琴钱都捐了。。。我哭。。。 |

就拿来了。在我桌上访了两个礼拜多，过期了几天，大概已经被charge了几毛钱。
终于，在仙剑爆机后的一段空虚里，把它放进了电脑，开始播放。
很有意思的电影。
不过更多的还是想到小Q。她是真正的dreamer。很久没看她来这里反省自己，

他总爱用隐喻，比如说什么大蜥蜴失去自己名字啊

这种隐喻系统建立的很日本，一看就是日本味道

看过经典港剧《大时代》的朋友，可能记得刘青云饰演的方展博在股市的第一次成名之
作，是“火烧连环船”，大破陈万贤。（不禁再次感慨神剧）
桥水一直使用的Risk Parity策略，看起来无懈可击，但实际上和连环船一样，整体抗
风险能力很强，但是由于反复叠加杠杆，一旦敌方火力够猛，一艘船起火，那么整个舰
队都将付之一炬。
从目前看到的信息来看，负责点火的，貌似是沙特。周瑜打黄盖，愿打愿挨；沙俄闹沙
特，重挫原油。由于原油价格下跌，沙特需要资金维持国家财政，再加上美国疫情暴发
，股市看起来没那么好，就想起来从美国赎回资金，而由于达里奥的天才销售能力，沙
特有很多资金在桥水里面，也有很多钱在类似桥水的Risk Parity里面。

吓人。

Jane Street我漏了,还有Sun,Allston,但好象revenue在200-300MM之间(2008肯定over,
今年不知道有没有).Two sigma 和millennium 比较的话,return还是two sigma高一点,
sharpe是millennium好,不过millennium很早quant就不是主业了,over 40% of revenue
come from equity long/short. 两个business model也很不一样,对millennium的人
来说,millennium好不好跟你一点关系都没有,只有group performance matters. PDT平
均应该没有1B,好年有过. |

友们说这个季节的芝加哥光秃秃的， 确实让我犹豫了一下。 让我欣慰的是后来顺利的在priceline上拍到了密西根大
道上的希尔顿酒店（70刀）。
芝加哥的地铁还是非常方便， 让我很容易地从机场到市中心酒店。之前在旅游版考古时没有看到谁提过地铁票的事， 想
了一下还是买了个3day pass, 但后来其实没有坐很多次地铁。 希尔顿酒店靠近地铁红线的Harrison站。 Check-in时
被告知lakeview房间要多加25刀，只好放弃了， 但要了个顶楼的房间, 从窗外能一览芝加哥的skyline, 尤其是那著名的
美国第一高楼。铁路从密西根大街平行穿过城市 中心， 似乎记录着这个城市不平凡的历史。
