. There is a new policy and will be enacted in July.
As of 1 July 2009, all internationally-qualified nurses and midwives
applying for assessment to the ANMC under the general skilled migration
scheme will be required to complete an English proficiency test. New Zealand
registered nurses and midwives are exempt from providing English
proficiency under the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997.

后给我们上课教育了半天，go through了一下整个怀孕的过程和大概什么时候要干嘛。
然后让我们去找专门管insurance的人谈，做好对钱心理有数。
后面11周以及之后都是同一个MD，1st和2nd trimester都是1月一次visit，到3rd的时
候半个月一次。但是到时候生的时候不一定是她，谁on call就谁接生，可能会有各种
provider，midwives，residents，doctors等。然后产后一次visit还又回到这个MD这
里。 |

training，80年代毕业的，是个黑阿姨，这个center只有这一个医生。在另外一个妇
科诊所倒是有好多医生和midwives，但是只有两个年龄比较大的女医生，其它都是
residents。我就选黑MM 吧，长得还不错，看照片。呵呵。

You have to deliver in the downtown hospital. There is no such service at
the radnor center.
They provide group services. You never know in advance who you will see at
your appointment. Dr.Bader is
good. Others are fine also. I always make Friday appointments because I
remember someone said OBs see
patients only on Fridays. You see midwives on other days. not 100% sure
though.

护士 如果想收入高的话, 你就的勤快, 多加班, 有2年工作经验的,如果你一星期工作
三天, 年薪在东部大概也就7万多或8万多(白班和晚班之分), 但一星期工作5天, 可以
有10万多, 但每天是12小时, 不是8小时, 而且在12小时内, 你的神经比较紧张,因为如
果你给错了药, 有可能人命关天,你的执照就被吊销了.会计可能要轻松一些.也不用工
作12小时吧. 但高级护士一般不做普通护士的活了, 收入也比较高,有5年以上工作经验
的高级护士(例如nurse practitioner, nurse midwives, )年薪应该在12万左右或更多
, 如果工作在5天/8小时的基础上.但他们的同另人差不多也有这个价码吧, 毕竟40岁左
右了, 这还是上护校较早而言.当然麻醉护士最特殊, 毕竟与手术打交道,自然收入最高
.但难进.
总而言之, 护士还是不错的职业, 比一般的工程专业可能有趣一些, 跟人打交道, 听些
有趣的故事.但是很多时候也是悲惨的故事,心理素质差的还是工程好一些吧. |
