白边更是老不正经，现在开始搞纸上的microfluidics，邪乎的紧，而且也几乎谈不上"
micro",也谈不上"fluidic"了
中生代的人里面Quake算是一个大牛,N/S都灌过，其他人像Soper，Kennedy之类的算中
牛吧，经常灌灌

新生代像Ismagilov也还不错。
这些大部分是化学系里的，可能还有牛人在工程系里我就不清楚了
纯做microlfluidics的学术价值已经开始走下坡路，还是好好想想有什么问题可以用
microfluidics的手段来研究吧 |

cleanroom 硅片常见加工过程都比较熟悉，动手能力比较强
机械工程常用的工具像autocad, labview, g-code, 及各种machine, 等等都是天天用
喜欢做simulation和计算，最熟的环境是MATLAB 和COMSOL, 也会一点python
理论背景还算比较强，PhD读的机械工程，个人特别喜欢物理和数学，读了一个物理的
minor,又修了数学的课程。所以对半导体物理，固态物理，光学，量子力学理解的比较
好。对解偏微分方程，常见的各种计算，模拟也比较容易上手。
到现在为止作了一年机械工程postdoc. PhD和postdoc 的项目都偏微流动。
感觉自己的硬伤是，MEMS 方向没有机会动手做过sensor. 虽然理论上对常见的sensor

this field after graduation. I'm currently doing CFD in a company.
Of course, it's only my personal case. But it's true the job market for MEMS
/Microfluidics is not that big.
If you want to be a faculty, this is still a good direction in my view. |

Biofluid area to work on NIH and NSF funded projects at Lehigh University.
The students are expected to have a good education and research background
in either computational fluid dynamics or experimental micro/biofluidics.
