美国《大众科学》月刊称,一组中国研究人员检测了2013年1月北京空气样本DNA片段发
现,其中含有约1300种微生物。
大多数微生物无害,但有些会引发过敏和肺病。该研究小组发现,雾霾较重时危险微生
物浓度更高。
至于北京空气中的微生物真能让人生病还有待研究。

纯化菌种,自己生产呢?
一般大的超市都有花肥卖,你可以注意以下配方中,有没有添加这个,一般都是混在土
壤里用吧,还要根据栽培的植物种类进行调整。
作这样产品的代理,我劝你省省,没啥经济帐可算的。
分离菌种的话,更没必要买了产品再分离了啊。直接买菌种呗。不晓得哪个菌种好的话
,就委托在美的中国留学人员直接从类似产品里分呗,再把菌种弄回去不就行了么,哈
哈……好像有侵权的嫌疑,不过,微生物就这样了,细菌细胞上,可没有条形码和made
in USA的标注…… |

s**********e 发帖数: 2888 | 38 你说的这个,其实就学术career(就是混碗饭吃)来说,也是非常不好的一条道路,也许做biofuel的会好一点,我就不知道了。
如果是做natural product biosynthesis,非常的不好。因为学术界的需求很少,到现在为止还都是纯粹的理论研究。所以出来的faculty都是那么几个大牛的学生,基本上如果你不是那么几个大牛,比如Christopher Walsh的学生,你几乎不可能在美国学术界找到位置。你看看最新的这个领域的faculty,几乎都是walsh的学生,老人不算。
我觉得原因是因为,这块的研究其实是几块的混合,genetics, biochemistry,
chemistry。最后的结果就是,你得genetics没有genetics的做得好,真正做genetics的人觉得你做的是小儿科;真正做biochemistry/chemistry的人也觉得你做得很简单。你牛的地方是这几块你都会做。
所以,纯粹的理论价值有限,应用前景不明了。其实说穿了,就是想和synthetic chemistry竞争。也许在遥远的未来,microbial biosynthesis会超过s |

我个人觉得如果你确定了一个天然产物有应用价值,但是没法化学合成,
那么去找biosynthetic pathway应该是应用前景很大的工作,当然难度是另一码事。
也许做biofuel的会好一点,我就不知道了。
现在为止还都是纯粹的理论研究。所以出来的faculty都是那么几个大牛的学生,基本
上如果你不是那么几个大牛,比如Christopher Walsh的学生,你几乎不可能在美国学
术界找到位置。你看看最新的
genetics的人觉得你做的是小儿科;真正做biochemistry/chemistry的人也觉得你做得
很简单。你牛的地方是这几块你都会做。

housekeeping gene当然不能直接作,除非像二楼说的你清楚这gene是干什么的,然后
从培养基里补,比如说合成Lysine这种得essential gene,敲了就不能用minimal
medium了。
但是可以先转一个其他的去替换,方法实在多的数不过来,还是看你自己情况而定吧(

c******n 发帖数: 5697 | 50 Arsenate也就是AsO4(3−)是phosphate analogue,也就是说对蛋白酶来讲,AsO4(3−)和PO4(3-)无区别,所以细菌的enzyme完全可以把它错当PO4(3-)使用,加入DNA和protein里,这个没有多大意义,你们还争论用不用分析化学鉴定,没意思
最主要的是As妨碍普通细胞的呼吸oxidative phosphorylation,普通细胞没法在As下生存,不可能繁殖
但是这种几年前就被发现了的细胞有酶可以中和As,还可以靠As呼吸, 所以可以靠As生长,所以在用As替换P的环境下繁殖,就丝毫不足为奇了
所以更有意义的发现不是As替代P, 而是细菌可以在As里繁殖。这是个老消息了,可怜NASA不要脸,又玩花样骗钱
早就说过了,NASA是个很可怜的机构,在资本主义社会中没有任何存在的意义,所以要向好莱坞学习,不停搞出新闻来,才可以吸引缴税人民的注意力,搞研究经费
