Donation update-5.15 & Recent on-spot donation activities
Dear all:
Please check out the following:
1)Up to May 16h, 1.00am, we have got a total of 16588.78 dollars (A total of
6376.94 for May 15th), good job everyone! That means apart from the 5040 we
already sent back to Mianyang, we still have 11548.78 left. Although not
all of them is available instantaneously since some transactions need to be
cleared.We are waiting for the feedback from Mianyang before we make our

for the pictures from them. Now we just got the latest information from
Mianyang and here are the latest updates!
1. Donation to Disaster Area
We sent $11,020 to Mianyang ($8,000 from our donation account, $3,020 is from the fund raising collection on campus,mainly form undergraduate students), plus another $1,000 from some people who are not at university. So totally they received $12,020.

Up to now we have received $28,633.01 for earthquake donation ($16,796.01
from PayPal and $11,837 from Check and Cash). And we attached the donation
list from 5/20-6/2 below. Please check it out.
2. Information from Earthquake Area
We sent $11,000 back to Foundation of Poverty Alleviation at Mianyang on 5/
25. They received our money but due to the danger of Yansai Lake, the money
is still saved in bank. We will send out further emails as soon as we got
new information. |

Fortunately, my parents are OK, just all the books,decorations,paits,vase
falling off to the ground. Quote my mom's words, "The home looks like been
robed". They are OK, but the others are not. And parents are at Chengdu, but
the other people are at Wenchuan, Mianyang, Qionglai, Shifang etc.. Let us
pray even I do not believe in God, let us bless all the people. If you can
