我猜测小二说的是对的。这三种不同的型号,可能只是配置上的不同。硬件上大概是同一
种型号,器件通用。4S就是这种情况,AT&T和Verizon的4S硬件上是一样的,但出厂的
时候,AT&T的4S上的CDMA功能被关闭掉了。
如果Apple真做三种不同iphone 5硬件型号,只会增加自己的成本,不合情理。
当然这也只是我的猜测。也许不同型号的LTE天线有一些不同?

看了iphone 7 的spec,model A1778/1784是ATT/TMobile版的。我理解是4G LTE的支持
两个model是一样的,不一样的是第二个model不支持cdma,第一个model支持cdma。
比如买tmobile机拿回国的话,不支持的是中国移动的TD-SCDMA(3G),中国联通的
WCDMA(3G),中国电信的CDMA(2G)和CDMA2000(3G)。
所以tmobile机如果回国用移动和联通,打电话和4G LTE上网是没问题的,只是3G网络
不能用;如果用电信,打电话2G3G上网都不行,只有LTE上网可以?

In the US, the A1459 iPad 4th Gen (Wi-Fi/AT&T/GPS) cellular capability is
intended to work only on AT&T and T-Mobile, although it is unlocked, and
also was offered in Canada on Bell, Rogers and Telus. Specifically, it
supports 4G LTE (bands 4 and 17), as well as GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900
MHz) and UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz).
