This is a pretty standard problem. I was wondering if any one knows
there are any 3D FEM matlab code (or other codes) that can solve this

feature selection must be done. Could be PCA, could be feature selection by
first/second order testing.
If moderately high, 50~1000, might be able to use LASSO-based methods to
simultaneously reduce dimension and fit the model.
If not really high, ~50, could try SVM/boosting/random forest/......directly
. Look at Hastie/Tibshirani book.

I know historical control group has a 10 months median survival time from
published paper (but no original data).
I have data with my experimental group (One-sample).
I want to know if my experimental group have a better survival than
historical control. I know if normal distributed data, there is one-sample Z
/t test. |

assumes the linear relationship (all slopes, particularly) in the model
holds for both missing and non-missing cases, except for with different
intercepts. I am just not sure how robust this assumption could be. |

hook的line，但上岸前忘记把hook从杆子上取下来了。结果在岸上被鱼警查到有
rockfish，还有含3 hooks的line，拿走了那个3 hooks line作为evidence，被开了罚
单。本来就打算上庭认错，交钱买教训。但是回来仔细看categorize是misdemeanor，
这个是比infraction高的罪，所以想来版上咨询一下
1.如果上庭老老实实认错，plea guilty，交钱，有多大可能把misdemeanor降为
infraction，这个东西是要跟法官negotiate还是跟DA negotiate？初犯可以作为一个
求情的理由不？
2. misdemeanor有多严重，这种unlawful method to take rockfish的misdemeanor会
作为记录永远跟着我吗？会影响将来的签证，绿卡申请，找工作什么的吗？如果很严重
