发帖数: 7895 | 4 对于META-ANALYSIS来说，我觉的，如果没有SUBMIT或者PUBLISH PAPER的话，你说你有
再多经验都没有用。人家一看就知道是理论上的理解。而且META-ANALYSIS本身是个统
计的TOOL，但如果做META-ANALYSIS的话，则是一个综合能力。就是说，你在学术界看
到了一个什么问题（多数情况是有什么MIXED FINDINGS)，但没有条件做实验或者学科
来说，时间上不允许做实验，然后你就总结这个问题相关的文章，这些文章做了什么，
怎么做的，SAMPLE SIZE，STUDY GROUP，结论是什么，EFFECT SIZE是多少等等。然后
你针对这个问题，提出一个SOLUTION，然后GUIDE FUTURE STUDY。一般来说，做META-
ANALYSIS的文章，一般也要比较多。我不记得MINIMUM的要求了，但我看过的META-
ANALYSIS来说，一般都有50+。
如果说你参与了很多META-ANALYSIS的项目，不如把项目写上去，把你在项目
中DEVELOP的SKILLS写出来，会更好。 |

据说 stata 软件 meta 被metan 代替了，以前的同事用meta做的分析， 我用她的code
, 她的数据，用meta 和metan 能得到类似的结果。
但是现有一个data, 有rr, lcl, ucl. 用两个命令，得到完全不同的结果。
meta rr lcl ucl, ci eform
得到 Test for heterogeneity: Q= 184.364 on 135 degrees of freedom (p= 0.003)
metan rr lcl ucl
得到 Heterogeneity chi-squared = 120.16 (d.f. = 135) p = 0.815
请问我有啥地方做错了？ 万分感谢。 |

都是借鉴cochran的，可能方法学上很少有人出错，但meta分析也有好多数据的，先浏
览一遍基本的比如偏移汇报说明，文献纳入标准是不是合理，还有一定要有敏感性分析
等等
有的低分杂志meta分析要求不高的，但基本的几项一定要做好 |

however, i didn't use stata. Instead, i used spss. there is a famous book
about meta-analysis "Practical Meta-Analysis ", only around 200 pages, easy
to read, and you can get spss code from this book. I highly recommend it.

突然发现, Meta分析文章中所引用的数据来源文献几乎都有问题.
主要生物样品的测量方法和结果有缺陷.药物在生物样品中的含量都测不准,药动参数的
准确性就根本无法保证.
比如,50cm长的色谱柱,0.8mL/min的流速,色谱峰保留时间竟然是1.2min;有的文献中大
部分PK点都超出标曲范围...等等.
像这样的文献,如何能够纳入的Meta分析中?统计的数据有和意义?
我发现,有些作者有主观判断,在统计分析时有可能故意避免引用一些文献. |

没有什么太深的东西。就看你怎么把不同的数据集综合起来，确定显著性和作用效果。
好多现成方法都非常直观。
现在不少人用综合不同的 GWAS 数据集，做meta－analysis。好多人都凭直觉来做，也
说得过去。比如最简单的就是，gene在A集中显著，B集中也显著，那就更确信这个gene
的association。如果A集中显著，B集中不显著，那就再费点脑子，massage一下数据（
也就是 meta－analysis 一下）。当然这种massage的方法最好别人发表过的。各种
massage的方法多如牛毛，你再组合组合，很大的可能你可以找到一种方法，弄个显著
出来。不过这样能不能通过review，就看你运气了。 |

Generally speaking, there are two ways to perform meta-analysis,by combining
effect sizes (parametric method) or combining significance levels (non-parametric
method). For each method, the statistic for meta-analysis was selected based
on the null. For example, if the null is that no genes are differentially
expressed in all studies vs all genes are DE genes, then the maximum p-value
statistic can be used to combine p-values.

我的考虑：1，最naive的方法 把同一手术方案的人combine 一起 做chisq test
2：按照meta analysis思路 按sample size给每个study加weight 然后 combine 同一
手术方案的病人 做chisq test
这两个方案可行否 大家帮分析分析
另外还有什么办法可以做
如果按meta analysis思路 degree freedom怎么算

我应该启用新域名、新版面，再做一个网站？因为这个网站才上线一个多月，90%搜索
引擎流量，峰值3000IP/日（目前跌到了小几百），如果google持续几个月降rank，我
还不如再新上线一个网站；如果新上一个站，还是用相同的server IP地址，好吗？
