发帖数: 428 | 11 两个月前搬到新地方，一个朋友都没有，所以上了meetup.com找了本地的moms'group
给自己和宝宝找活动参加。这里的活动很多，几乎每周都有适合我们的。宝宝快十一个
月了，看到其他的宝宝都特别兴奋，她玩得高兴，我也高兴，和其他的妈妈们相处愉快
，每次参加完活动心情都特别好。
第一次：Stroller Walk
地点在公园，几个妈妈们推着婴儿推车在公园散步，一边聊天。我因为找不到路而迟到
了快半个小时，她们还等我才出发，真是感谢！刚开始怯生生的，不太敢说话，不过还
是有很友善的妈妈主动跟我聊。发现碰到的妈妈们有好多也跟我一样，不是刚搬来就是
几年前从外州搬来，感觉很亲切。
第二次-第五次: 宝宝playdate
地点在不同的妈妈家。每次都会认识不同的妈妈们，她们人都很亲切，会主动找你说话
，问宝宝的状况，互相交流。从她们口中打听到附近好玩的公园，好的儿科医生，免费
的Kindermusik音乐班，妈妈宝宝班等资讯，真是太宝贵了，对我们刚搬来的帮助特别
大。
在家里带宝宝久了多少有疲惫感，甚至郁闷,宝宝也需要新的刺激，感觉meetup.com的
moms group给我和宝宝提供了 |

I am not organizing this, but a couple of people are starting up the
Fermilab club again in Batavia, IL. If anyone is interested, the club is
meeting on Wednesdays in Fermilab's User Center at 7pm. We have a couple of
beginners and players with ranks from 9k-17k. If anyone would like to join
us, enter Fermilab from the West entrance on Kirk road and let security know
you are meeting people at the User's Center. Let me know if you have any

very useful.
I use craiglist.org to find renting/roommates, sell used stuffs, etc.
I use meetup.com to find events partner, like hiking, traveling, camping,

想认识其他父母的童鞋们，可以在这个网站上找local的parents meetup，或者自己发
起一个。特别是对天天一个娃呆家里对着爷爷奶奶或者保姆的，出去活动活动，和其他
小朋友一起玩还是很开心的。新爸新妈也可以多认识些朋友，可以得到很多信息，比如说找daycare啊，哪里有好玩的playground啊。 |
