with making fake threats against fellow black students at the New Jersey
school, which increased racial tensions and led to heightened security.
Kayla-Simone McKelvey, of Union Township, faces one count of creating a
false public alarm, which carries a maximum three- to five-year sentence.

进口的大幅增长和消费者开支的下滑导致美国第二季度的经济增长速度有所放缓。
据高盛集团经济学家发布的修正后预测数据显示，第二季度美国经济的年率增长速
度为2%，低于该集团此前预期的年率增长3%；今年下半年的平均增长速度预计仍为1.5%
。美国政府将在7月30日公布其对GDP数据的年度修正报告。
高盛集团驻纽约的资深经济学家埃德·麦凯尔维(Ed McKelvey)在7月16日的一份客
户报告中称：“从最近几周以来的严峻趋势来看，我们可能需要对经济增长速度作出下
行修正。虽然可以相信经济增长速度放缓的趋势将是短暂的，但有几个因素则强烈呈现
出相反的经济走势。”
麦凯尔维表示，可能阻碍下半年经济增长的因素包括，经济将失去财务刺激性措施
和库存补充的支持、未占用住房的过度供应量、各州及地方政府的预算限制、信贷的缺
乏以及疲弱的就业增长趋势等。
在此以前，摩根大通和瑞银证券(UBS Securities LLC)驻纽约的经济学家也都已下
