the material direction fits to global direction. but the requirement of
orientation in solid section line is stupid, should be an option since
in composite definition, you can choose either use an orientation definition
for each layer or define an angle to the orientation define in the
solid section line. |

engineering physics等等背景的，主要做一些市场行情比如股票什么的建模，模拟。
相对而言，因为纯数学背景的做的东西不实际，没有实际的应用背景，因此wallstreet
并不倾向于招纯数学的而是更喜欢招工程专业的从事建模的人。
请问这是真的么，本人材料专业的正在选方向，材料模拟是其中之一（condensed
materials or soft materials)，主要是建模然后不断的修改coding使之更接近真实的
反应情况，不过这个组里还没有谁说去银行的，多数还是在做研究，请问如果选此课题
能够跳出学术圈子去银行么？
本人实在是不知情还请大家说 |

control of the forming processing，也就是锻造加工的。本人感觉这个方向似乎只
能去一些汽车、冶金和重型机械行业，就业面窄。请教各位了解情况的前辈，材料加工
在美国就业前景到底如何？
另外还有一个offer是明尼苏达大学的机械，未指定导师，很可能会做control，机电一
体化方面。这个方向比起西北的锻造方向是否就业会好一些

个人觉得nanoletters不太可能，ACSnano也危险。所以现在重点关注两本新的期刊。一
本是Advanced Optical Materials，另一本是Light: Science & Applications。前者
是Advanced Materials系列的一本新期刊。后者是中国长春光机所和Nature发行集团合
办的新期刊。两者都还没有出影响因子。大家觉得这两本哪一个更好一些？如果大家知
道其它更合适的期刊，也请赐教。谢谢！ |

materials, mainly metal oxide thin films for energy applications. I only
have background in traditional materials science like metallurgy, knowing
very little about solid state electrochemistry and physics. I am worried if
I can fit in the new research.
