我在一个不好不坏的学校读MBA，有Accounting的concentration，在校期间还算出众，
拿了不少奖励，包括一个International机构颁发的会计奖，其他的不详述了。
院长推荐我去了GM做Internship，由于先前在中国的Marketing经验较多，被HR派到了
Marketing部门。老实说，GM很希望把我派回上海GM，但现在还不知道他们能在上海Pay
我多少钱。
我之所以在MBA阶段选择accounting做concentration，因为中国的Marketing实在太辛
苦了，而且我觉得accounting也算个技术活。我在积极准备CPA，可是版上居然又有很
多人说四大不怎么样。
真是迷惑啊~~~在中国都算很牛的Fortune 500，为什么在这里大家还挑挑拣拣的？想请
问的是，进入GM做marketing，对我以后的会计career是不是没有任何帮助？而且我很
怕，万一到时我不想回上海了，找个类似的marketing工作会不会很难？
另外，遇到大公司又不肯给H1-B的，怎么办呢？OPT结束前，换到小公司么？或者再读
个博士？ |

我本科毕业后在国内一家4A的广告公司做account planning
后来跳槽去做marketing research
4年后读的b-school
这个背景申请好学校没什么问题
上班要肯干，争取升职早、快
另外申请时注意突出一下你的quantitative skills
广告公司出来给人的stereotype就是不懂数字
你做media planner的应该好一些
在美国读marketing的人其实很多
当然还不能和读finance的人比
前途么，如果你象我当初一样是想去consumer packaged goods做品牌经理的话
在美国就别想了，这些公司都不招外国人的，可以回国去做
或者改作hi-tech, pharma marketing
继续做professional services也不错，比如marketing consulting,
marketing research等等，不过一般要找比较看重analytical skills的职位
去madison ave比较难点，纯粹靠卖嘴皮子的活我们还是干不过美国人

个原先做market making的韩国人。我觉得主要区别在于：
那个韩国人做option market making的，好像叫什么scalping/volatility arbitrage
，trader的工作就是用一些工具fit volatility curve，好像策略是buy volatility,
sell volatility...具体就是有个volatility curve，如果有个option在curve上面就
卖，如果有个option在curve下面就卖，然后还要反向操作对应的future去hedge，但每
次还是有10 cents左右的利润，然后乘以一些系数就是赚的钱。反正买卖的时点都是很
确定的，系统自动程度很高，trader手动做的部分就是当系统漏了一些option的时候手
动去买；quant的工作就是搞模型算volatility，其实我还是不大明白quant跟trader的
工作具体有什么不同；那个韩国人是IT，他负责测试策略和遍交易系统，他们公司大概
