though I have margin accounts, I just don't use margin normally. In addition
, weekend and holidays are not counted when we talk about T+?. T+3 could be
next Wed if the trade date is on Friday. There is also one trade day which
is not a settlement date. I think it's Black Friday but I'm not positive
about that.

不知老兄问的是美国的还是加拿大的? 只就所知的美国报税说点, 供参考.
Margin 的 interest 不能从capatal gain (Schedule D)里扣除. 如果你报税采用的是
STANDARD DEDUCTION, 则 Margin 的 interest 无法抵税. 如你采用的是 ITEMIZED
DEDUCTION, 则可在税表的Schedule A 的第13栏Deductible investment interest 里
填, 并要填 Form 4952.
其他與投資有關的費用亦有可能扣稅。您到投資顧問辦公室的交通費用，訂閱與投資有
關的報紙刊物，甚至投資顧問收取的咨詢費用等，都屬於逐項扣稅(ITEMIZED

大牛市里 大盘刚刚从oversold进入rally mode 可以margin用得多一点 150-180%
大盘进入rally under pressure mode 降到50-90%
不断止盈 换到新的trading vehicle
如果抓住了每年的top 大牛股
随着account value爆涨 你可以借到更多的margin在好入点 (50 ma or 3 week tight
等等) 加仓 |

急剧缩水，补仓用了一万多Margin，结果7万多的帐户被搞到3万多，TD也没有给Margin
Call， 后来慢慢全回来了，还赚了些，当时如果被逼着卖掉的话，基本就外婆了。 |

如果一旦该股票跌过某个价位，他们很可能取消该股票做抵押的可能，然后你就收到

1.如果有多个股票，总是选你手上好的股给卖掉。垃圾留着。
2.有时发出警告后立即执行，而有时并不立即执行，而是会等一段时间，在更低的位置
给你卖掉。
最近的一次又是这样，就是这周三，其实9:30am一开盘就受到margin call警告了，可
是IB一直等到10:00左右最低的时候才给我执行，偏偏挑中了后面两天表现最好的DRYS
，割在了3.16。
严重怀疑这里面有猫腻啊。按理说应该完全是由程序执行的呀。
有没有类似经历的？ |
