很多大会议学校到最后都没去过BCS,没拿过BCS的大会议球队更多.
为什么教练下岗都去做OC,Mangino现在也是ISU的OC. |

也能带出好队伍
KU的胖子（上一个胖子Mark Mangino）
在一个天天盼着篮球赛季的学校，
破了连续输给Nebraska 36年的losing streak，
比分40-15
很多人也以为是Nebraska不够好，
但后来2007年，KU 12-1，还赢了个BCS bowl，证明KU和Mangino是真强。。。 |

programs, including basketball. Moving to a "lesser" conference will
diminish its football attendance further, which means a lot less cash coming
in. They also like the BCS' tie-ins for Big 12. If they were any good as
they were under Mangino, there would be even more revenue.
KU doesn't care about football, but they care about cash, which comes from
football. |

旁门。mangino把队伍带到bcs的bowl win，这和Indiana 赢big10，duke赢acc，vandy
赢sec没什么太大的区别，那也保不住他的位置。那搞搞禁欲，是最容易做的事，何乐
而不为呢？不过，我也可以做到如果选我当主教练。 |

That's why Bob Stoops could easily poach Mangino and Venables from KSU.
Venables would rather be co-DC with Mike Stoops at OU than be THE DC at
KSU. |

08年Chip Kelly开始执教之前
全Div I有两个没打过football的教练
都是超重的胖子
乍看过去，让人以为是线人出身，其实是看球的出身～～
一个是当时KU的教练Mark Mangino（据说几百斤还年轻时候打棒球）
一个是现任KU的教练，当时的ND教头Charlie Weis
其中前一个是相当不错的
07赛季还12－1，赢了橘子碗呢
可惜了 |

不少是在高中打球，大学就开始做Staff开始学教练了，专业也都是Physical
Education什么
Leach没有在BYU打上球
但是在怀俄明的Cody High School打过
不过上了BYU之后，走上了法学院的邪路～～
当然，最后又回到football的怀抱～～
没打过大学Football的还有不少，你们的Cutcliffe,GT的Paul Johnson等
这么算起来，Weis才是真吊丝
毛运动都没玩过，纯靠看和忽悠啊
Mangino都好歹打过棒球，对怎么练身体估计还是有点方案的 |

好的assistant coach离成功的HC还有很长的一段距离
broyles awards winners没什么做HC很成功的
chizik和mangino有过零星的成功赛季，以失败为主。
maryland的那个还算凑合，也不算成功的HC |
