最近找人,同事forward一个他以前的coworker的resume. 那个人看起来经验比较丰富
,但是unemployeed 有2年多了,我的同事说此人的脾气比较大,但是鼓励我和此人电
话里谈一下
约好了时间,我打过去,先问他 " it looks like you have extensive industry

差不多差不多。
他呢,其实也是我们开发这边的。我手底下有三个team外加几个contractors.
他其实是比较底层,手底下一个人也没有。review的时候我是Sr. managerial
position, 他是individual contributor. 我薪水大约是他的两倍。我手下80%
的人都挣的比他多。当然薪水方面他不知道。
所以按说吧,他和我根本不是一个级别的人。可是呢,他确实觉得他比我高,所以
要指挥我。他觉得他比我手下的人那更是高不知道多少倍,我的人要是敢说他的
idea有问题那真是反了天了。
我是真心不喜欢跟他争的,跟他掐就感觉降到了他的level一样。可是again, 他要是
惹我的人,那我绝不姑息。

最近投marketing analyst的工作,但是从工作要求上看,工作之间还是区别很大的。
不知道哪种工作,有利于长期的职业规划。
A. 靠近client,需要的技能就是SQL Excel PPT。
B. Technical, 需要quantitative models analysis, SAS or R。
C. 做 digital marketing, Search Engine Marketing, 折腾一些web analytics 软件。
A的感觉,浪费了之间学的技术,但是会不会轻松些,将来更容易走 managerial role.
B的感觉,技术分析做多了,即使公司倒了,换个工作应该没问题。C的感觉,是不是
更像打下手的。各位大侠点评下。

大家都是从小蚂蚁起步的。以前没有人指点,走了很多弯路。但职场各个时期的目标不
同。我第一份工作想的最多的是绿卡,再次是长期发展,而且是注重技术上的发展。第
二家公司起初一直想在技术上做大。后来在公司内某个领域算是混得最好的了,但却整
天觉得没什么劲。于是就考虑转到managerial这条路,这也是后来再跳公司的原因。

Sorry I cannot type chinese here.
It surely is a challenge for me to take a managerial path in my career.
Currently I only focus on projects that I am doing. Being a manager means a
hell lot of responsibility and also has to deal with difficult people in the
group.

公司终于开始办绿卡了, EB1C 跨国经理人, 我本身手下没有人, 但是在领导一个
全球团队(美国,英国和中国)负责公司很重要的一个Function。 所以公司会以
Function Manager的名义给申请EB1C绿卡。 有没有那位大大也走过类似的申请可以分
享一下经验。
还有几个问题
1. 我查USCIS的网站, 发现EB1C的140好像没有加急处理, USCIS官网上说会在2012
年初开始, 但现在也一直没有开始。 有那位大大知道是否有加急呢?
2. 是否需要准备PL呢? 我想现在主要是证明自己有managerial capacity。 大家
有什么建议吗?

烙印早就发现ICC在作假,瞄上了EB1C. EB1AB 太难做假,学历要求对烙印来说太高
。烙印有几个PHD的?大多是3年的学位。好,EB1C就太容易了。
历史上,90年代的时候,老中也ABUSE过!那时,纽约的唐人街上随便抓一个就是跨
国公司经理,都是通过华人贸易公司办的。后来移民局发现被耍了,严打,从此消失好
长时间。现在又来了,ICC成了主力。
法律有没有规定ICC里美国人的比率不得低于50%?这种漏洞太大了。实际上就是,
美国公司可以通过ICC随便雇佣低价劳力,而且供应是无限量的。 这里相信很多人是
吃IT饭的,不堵上,你我的将来堪忧啊。ICC现在在IT界搞,以后任何行业均渗透,只
要有利润。ICC找来的好多并无突出技能,毫无经验只有3年大专学历的小孩,冒充5
年以上经验的到处都是。利益网里全是腐败。看INFOSYS的一雇员告了ICC,揭露太多内

恩恩, job description 会和现在基本一样, 大概10%的东西不同, 多了一些
managerial的role,单位律师和你的建议一样, 说到时候多加个amendment 或者
demotion半年。
感觉还是eb2保险点吧?T_T
