ave 不到 ositos ave 的路边就有一颗，街对面也有一颗，sunnyvale 图书馆门前的花
园里也有一颗小的，mountain view downtown 北面的居民区也有很多.

tasted too sour, what you can do is to age the fruits in a dry cool area
for a week.

sweet olive是桂花树中比较COMMON的一个品种吧。
桂花树
学名：Osmanthus fragrans
科名：木犀科（Oleaceae）
属名：木犀属（Osmanthus）
拉丁名：Osmanthus fragrans Lour.
另外GARDEN CENTER还有比较大盆的桂花树，原价有90和120的，折完也就20，30多，要
开TRUCK过去才好拿。。 |

学名：Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lindl.
英文名：Loquat
科名：蔷薇科 Rosaceae
常绿小乔木，高可达10米；小枝密生锈色或灰棕色绒毛。叶片革质，披针形、长倒
卵形或长椭圆形，长10—30厘米，宽3—10厘米，顶端急尖或渐尖，基部楔形或渐狭成
叶柄，边缘有琉锯齿，表面皱，背面及叶柄密生锈色绒毛。圆锥花序花多而紧密；花序
梗、花柄、尊筒密生锈色绒毛；花白色，芳香，直径1．2—2厘米，花瓣内面有绒毛，
基部有爪。梨果近球形或长圆形，黄色或桔黄色，外有锈色柔毛，后脱落，果实大小、
形状因品种不同而异。花期10一12月，果期第二年5—6月。
我国四川、湖北有野生，现全国各地都有栽培；批把在我省分布很广，但作为经济栽
培的仅限于苏州地区洞庭东、西山，光福
以及南通、海门、扬州等地，洞庭东、西
山的产量占全省90％以上，是我国著名的

发现和果树相关的帖子极端的少, 且除了寒山大师之外, 也没有多少的同学谈及果树.
深感本应该也是庭院主题之一的果树种植, 在本班似乎还没得到足够的推广. 想想自己
种果树多年, 也摸索积累了一点知识与经验, 相信在这方面应该对新手能有所帮助, 於
是本著好东西要与人分享的心理, 去年五月也进了本班, 开始了施毒(白鹤语)的日子.
本班的同学们来自四面八方, 大家的成长环境不同, 但似乎大都来自凉寒地区, 对很多
水果, 尤其是可口的亚热带水果, 许多同学莫说吃过, 有些可能连听都没听过, 实在是

反正我找来找去的结果是只能买那些扦插大的苗。 可以知道自己买的是什么品种。

then just left it somewhere......at least the first step is done: cut a
branch
I also trimmed my loquat tree...cut at least 3 feet at the top, and trim each branch...got to fertilize it in the summer and fall......hope it will perform next year |
