skilled workers,对Eb1a,1b就压根没说。只是我没见过以前的，不知道是不是我想得太多。这USCIS也太粗心了吧。
这个差别完全可以导致不同的邮寄地址，按原来的指示，属于NSC的应该寄到phoenix lockbox,属于应该寄到Dallas lockbox； 可是要按现在的说法，都要寄到Dallas lockbox. 这可能耽误不少时间。近期递的同学能不能确认一下？尤其是NSC的。

的信箱之一。比如Chicago也是一个lockbox。在lockbox那里接收的材料会然后根据管
辖你案子的处理中心来分配，比如分配到NSC,TSC,CSC,VSC。 |

老师开的 485 课，本意是省省同学们的事儿，结果闹得有的同学堵心。不但有还没填表的同学感到
无从适从，已经交完表的同学也有忧心如焚的。今天，老师先给同学们宽宽心。
关于 485 的申请类型，有同学填了 [a]，也有同学准备填 [a]，在 140 还没批准的情况下。填
了就填了吧，想填 [a] 就填 [a]。实际上，140 还没批的 485 是不会有人来看的。等你的 485
开始处理了，你填的[a] 也就对了。
那边填了 [h] 的同学也别嚷嚷，你们填得没错。
同学们心里好受一点了？老师接下来谈谈改名字的风波。填了 None 的同学不要紧，填了 N/A 的
同学也没关系。这话儿怎么讲？且听老师慢慢道来。
在数据的录入界面上，每个 field 在接受之前，都会有个检错的过程。比如说名字，它就只接受字

交到TSC还是NSC, 但是我下的移民局485 instruction只给了Dallas或者Phoenix的
lockbox地址。难道是移民局下个月收485的地址刚刚改了？2月交485的，都是按照
lockbox地址交吧？
交到lockbox, 接到receipt 就会告之去那个中心。
第二个问题考了古，也有人回答，但是众说纷纭，还想再听听大家的意见： 我I-94上
显示是2007年最后一次从芝加哥入关；但是2008年我们去了加拿大拿枫叶卡，护照上有
加拿大海关的移民签证和入境章（显示了2008年的时间）。I-94没有被收走，导致上面
显示的最后入关时间和地点与实际的时间地点不符。这种情况下，我们是否该填写2008
年从BUffULO入关，而不是2007年从芝加哥入关？
从加拿大回来时有没有新的盖戳？有没有记录？ 如果有，就填那一次，uscis 都能查
到，如果没有可以考虑填芝加哥，你也可以考虑写个memo 复在表后。
写清楚memo for 那一个表，哪一个item. 。

1. Clear data： 比如提交copy，一定要清晰。因为这些supporting doc可能会再
被copy or scan，而adjudicator看的可能不是你提交的copy。所以提交件一定要尽量
清晰。
还有如果form有选项选错了，更改了或者涂抹了，有可能mailroom copy，scan的时候
，你原来的选项还是能可见，就会造成不必要的误会。
2. Consistent data：比如name， A#， DoB， 所有的dates， 一定要前后match；
Form 和supporting doc的data要match；G-28上面的applicant info和form里面的要
consistent。
3. Correct data：比如正确的pay check。 如果提交几个forms，最好分开用
separate checks.这样哪怕一张写错了，不影响剩下的application。否则如果一张大

1. Case 什么时候Assign 给adjudicator， 有什么先决条件，或者Assigning 的
order吗（比如RD， FP date， BC clear date etc）
A: case assign to adjudicator upon reception。 但是注意，一般application是
file 到lockbox，等过了mailroom的基本检查，和data entry 环节，application才会
转到service center。其中有一段delay。 然后BC 开始。BC 包括FP相关的check 和其
他的BC check（没有详细列举内容）和 other security check（也没有列举）。 FP相
关的check， 在FP打的当天就送到FBI去request check。一般2-4 hours later，结果
就可以返回供adjudicator 查看。不过service center 内部有两套 data system，

发帖数: 1 | 49 實體信寄出大概過了八天左右DoS給了我一封電郵。
USCIS的部分並非每一封給他們的信都有回應，而且每封回信都等了相當久的時間。我
覺得需要注意的是給VSC或者lockbox的電郵中必須明確地提到我們已經跟他們的客服，
也就是NCSC聯絡過，第二級客服無法提供有效的訊息並且建議我們直接聯繫VSC以及
lockbox（這兩點都是我實際從二級客服得到的建議，每個二級客服的水準並不一致，
有些完全對J1 waiver沒有概念，有些則相當理解我們的案件得從DoS轉發過去。）
DoS最初的回應都是他們已經確實的轉發了我們的FR，一切相關問題請洽USCIS。因此後
來我才會附上USCIS的電郵，就是希望讓DoS知道USCIS確實沒辦法找到我們的案件，希
望DoS能幫忙。 |
