Location 是投资房地产的重要考虑。但房屋的大牛市来临的时候，买家或受环境的影
响又或是因为downpayment 的限制便不再注重 Location 特别是学区的考虑。但历史一
次次的证明当买方市场来临时，Location 便又被重视。位置不理想的房屋最理想的卖
出时间就是目前的绝对强劲的卖方市场。
如果是自住的，一定要考虑“Location"，反之，对于投资房若买在好的时间，回报率
更高。另外一条应注意的是，因为 Location 的原因尽管处于卖方市场照样走得慢的房
子，将来在卖出时也不可能走得快。 |

般是指大方向的地域，不是指左边第一座房子 vs 右边第二座房子这样的location吧，
那是朝向活风水的干活。
同个小区，在没啥特坏的lot的情况下，我觉得floor plan重要，毕竟大部分人不会推
倒重建。 |

对于大的地理范围，比如浦东浦西，肯定选浦东。但对于浦东内部，就没有那么多的差
异了吧。
如果一个很hot的学区，什么小黑屋，location，只要一挂出来，肯定很快就被抢。
对于一个大的相对不错的学区来说，看到过传统的好community的房子，内部都是6、70
年代的装修，挂在市场上很长时间都没有人理。如果相同的装修，community好的肯定
价格高；如果相同的location，装修好的肯定走的快。至于location不好，装修好，或
者location好，装修好，就要看买家自己的情况了。
同意楼上说的，房子是自己住的，自己舒服就行。一个好的小区里面，所谓的主路能有
多少车影响？但是如果自己思想里总是觉得不舒服，那就不要去选那些道路旁边的房子。
最后价格才是最重要的！location相对不好，但是只要便宜，一样走的很快。 |

公司有两个location A 和 B。在同一公司同一个组工作近四年。PERM 在A这个
location file的，140 approve了。一年前换到B这个location，H1b amend到B的地址
。还没有递交B的PERM。公司没变，组没有变，job responsibility 没变，location
变了。
这个月PD current，律师来信说如果要用A地址的PERM 来file 485， 有两个option:
1. remain 在B地址工作，H1b 不用amend, 等绿卡approve以后，立刻转到A 地址工作
至少6个月
2. 现在就递交 H1b amendment换到A地址，等H1b approve以后就转到A地址工作，并且
在绿卡批下来以后还要继续留在A 地址工作至少6个月。
我的问题就是，如果H1b 已经换到A地址，并且现在去A地址工作六个月，是不是就可以
达到要求，不需要继续在A 地址工作到绿卡批下来六个月后。求版上达人解答。 |

0 Open iTunes
1 In the preference, set the music location to the new location
2 File->Library->Consolidate Library.
This will copy the songs to the new location.
For the library, migrate them in the Finder:
1 Copy the library folder, NOT including the song files, to a new location
2 Hold option(alt) key and launch iTunes.

2004年初，想明白，决定把买房当成大事来抓。
3月开始，先胡乱找了俩agent，看了几个房子。算是入门。
于是开始自己研究location, which is real estate all about.
主要参考网站：

http://www.realtytimes.com (各地房地产情况简析)
看了这些以后，根据自己对附近的情况的了解，圈出了几个地方。
location A: 新房建设中，6月抽签。学校一般，但是房子价位很合算。并且小区
在建自己的小学。15 mins to office, 20 mins to Chinatown
location B: 新区开发中，道路都没ready，不知道什么时候可以开工。学校一般，
但是房子价位很合算，小区的设计很好，也会建自己的小学和中学。离freeway较远，
25 mins to office, 25 mins to Chinatown
location C: 10 |

1.我是不是要在file485的时候必须回到CA，也就是当时办perm的地方？

between the distance/difference and quality/performance. I also proposed
that we should focus on the goodness of the data. But at this moment I am
asked to focus on the distance.
I think the logic of my boss is to build wheels first then find a way to use
it, rather than study if we need the wheel first.
PS: I don't have other data yet, not very familiar with all the data yet.

现在的location不错，发现学生找工作真的是容易了
一大把中国master学生，来了美国没几天，英文都很勉强，成绩也都很一般
现在也都是好几个offer 和面试 虽然说公司不怎么样，但是也都开始起步他们的
career
对学生来说location还是重要呀,我也很欣慰，至少没有误人子弟。
他们的自费的学费还算物有所值呀。
当然坏处是要找个愿意好好做研究的就不容易了。 |

一下,两个location各有什么优缺点? 感觉developer的话在NYC没什么advantage, 反而
是不是Princeton上班方便,房价和税收也便宜?
另外同样的职位的salary在这两个location有区别么? 还是career path和opportunity
会不一样?

例如周围是否有比较吵闹的单位：shopping mall， fire department， 警察局等。
周围是否是大的交通繁忙的道路
周围学校的远近 （太远了不方便，太近了比较吵闹）
周围房价的高低，周围居住人口的分布，这些都应该算是location吧。 |
