见到老外想用英语推介重庆，有些热词你一定得知道怎么说！市外事翻译中心昨日
对“五个重庆”等重庆热词给出了权威的英文翻译。
“翻译不统一，容易给外宾带来误解甚至是反感。”刚成立不久的市外事翻译中心
的负责人表示，第一批公布的热词中，几乎都是百度搜索量排名靠前的，比如“打黑除
恶”长期占据百度搜索榜榜首，短短7个多月，检索量达到152597次。
“这些英文翻译中也注意了和其他相关翻译配合。”该负责人举例说，像网络搜索
上火爆的“两江新区”，以前也有翻译成Two River Zone的，但鉴于浦东新区、滨海新
区都采用拼音的译法，作为第三个国家级开发新区的“两江新区”也采用拼音的译法
Liangjiang New Area。

生(Eugene Peterson)。
此书中文读者可能尚不熟悉，接触比较多的，可能是他写的《追寻呼召的探索之旅》、
《返璞归真的牧养艺术》等书。
但是他流传最广的作品，仍是《信息本圣经》。这是一本由希伯来文、希腊文重新解读
，再用现代英文呈现的现代阅读圣经版本。现已卖出近千万本了吧？而且，据说小学生
也爱读，拿起，可以一口气从《创世记》读到《利未记》。
他说当初写作的衷旨，是作一个圣经的「翻译者」。欲把圣经时代的语言，也就是上帝
用来创造、救赎，医治、祝福，审判和掌管的语言，翻译成现代世界里，我们说八卦、
讲故事、指路、交易应酬，甚至和孩子说话时所使用的日常语言。
他想颠覆大家对圣经望而生畏，不碰不读的状况。写作负担，是让圣经成为一本可读之
书，一本不管男女老少，贩夫走卒，士农工商，都会愿意拿起一读的故事书。
这难道不也是所有文字事奉作者和艺术工作者，想要呈现的最高境界麽？我们哪位不是
圣经的「翻译者」呢？我们又如何地渴望能用各样创意来诠释圣经，把圣经和现代两个

UW Bioengineering is one of the best in the states.
It's engineering, including CS and EE, are way better than Bostonn.
YOu may transfer to EE if you like, quite easy.
Job markety? West coast is the hottest.
City? Seattle is one of the most beautiful and livable cities of US.

我时不时来生物版看看，因为我来北美也做了10年的科研，我自己觉得我有兴趣但
没有大的出路，也不是我和我的家庭的晚年的理想归途。于是，我40岁开始做跳槽
努力，虽然勉强过了USMLE，混进了住院，但我尽了最大努力做好，近50岁时从新开
始当医生。至少，我和我家人不再为养老发愁了，这里就不说那些悬壶济世治病救
人的高尚话语了。
我就不明白，要是真对科学感兴趣，愿意献身，老哭诉什么？如果不甘心，不请愿，
那这个自由世界有得是机会，你自己去努力总有可能改变自己不满意的现状的。即
使最差，你总是去努力过了。
人家老墨干餐馆、加油站，清洁工，也嗨皮得很，更有俺翻译的这个故事的精英。
而在这个各个牛B哄哄的大陆精英版里，看到的就是鬼哭狼嚎抱怨不休。俺来几次贴
点鼓励和建议的帖，总有那几个牛B到连俺的帖子的目的都看不懂，愣要说俺来显摆
暴发户的。
靠，就尔 等这水平，估计也就配在LAB里哭鼻子牢骚养耗子跑PCR了。
俺从来都是真人上网，当个普普通通的病理医生很满足，但我深知作为出来的学医

San Jose, or even Gunn. I keep hearing that every year about 20-30% of the
Monta Vista students go to De Anza, a local community college. It costs
about 1.2m to get a tiny livable house in Palo Alto, yet your kid still has
to work his ass off to get into an above-average college. Just sad. |
