but if you don't even know what 127.0.0.1 is, it's a little bit challenging
1. make sure your linux box's network is setup properly
hint: what's the output of ifconfig?
2.try ping your linux box from PC
3.use default lighttpd config, restart your lighttpd
3.type in ip address of your linux box in browser address bar. |

面, 正在迎头赶上Sun. Lighttpd只占用相对较小的内存, 而且为大型分布式连接环境

首先你得有apache或lighttpd web server，支持php。
下载后，到你的webserver 目录下建立一个子目录，把下载的pic.zip考到这个目录，
unzip pic.zip 就可以了。
在浏览器打入index.php所在目录的url地址就可以了建立你的相册了，不需要任何
setup。刚开始主页显示的有点怪，当你相片多了后就正常了（我就不修改了）。
里面还有个slide.php文件，是自动播放所有相片的一个小程序，在浏览器里面运行即
可。
子目录 upload/ 保存所有上传相片。 目录 record/ 里面的pictures.txt记录了所有
上传的照片名字，如果那个照片你不喜欢，编辑picture.txt删除那个记录后，照片就
不会在网页里显示了。

新开始感觉也挺好，不折腾几回，怎么会学会东西呢？
目前我的服务器是用apache runs PHP, cgi等脚本文件，用lighttpd 跑静态文件如
pictures, html. 感觉这样比单纯用apache要快，但是感觉没有单独用lighttpd快。

it can call my "set_my_value" directly.
So even i didn't check/uncheck the checkbox.
It's setting the values.

not sure i asked clearly.
in my perl CGI code, i don't have things to generate a popup window,
it's from lighttpd web server (similar to apache).
so if i turn on module.Auth in the configure file,
every time i open that page, it'll popup the login window.
in the following answer, the variable is "username",
but i don't know what lighttpd expects. |

通过DATA_UNSET宏，其他类型在定义中直接引用DATA_UNSET宏来模拟继承
通用数组中存放的数据可以是通用数组，这样可以形成多维的通用数组。

之前看其他开源的代码，有种技巧是使用函数指针和二维数组来实现多态，不过我记得
不大清了，请高人指点完整写法。

each time i have to type in them.
is there a way in CGI code (perl, python etc.) to prefill the username ?
like using cookie etc.

周末的时候在家里闲得无聊，于是想体验一把Python的web server。本来以为，无非是
手动地实现一个类似于WAMP的功能，应该花不了太长时间。但最后的事实是：各种问题
不断，插曲实在太多，花费了偶大半天的时间，于是把安装经验分享在网上，希望后来
人少走弯路。
web.py在安装之前，需要有几个dependency: web server, Python, CGI/WSGI module,
Database, Database driver/adaptor.
第一步：web server
web.py的官方页面上说既可以用LightTPD也可以用Apache，考虑到Apache更普遍，平时

我现在装了samba,transmission,lighttpd,dokuwiki,webpy,lynx,git，都不错。
只有VPN/PPTP,老给我error 619,所以现在用text browser将就。还有一个是debian在

查优盘有没有操作系统可以启动。
然后在优盘上装了个debian wheezy，于是想看看这个家伙性能究竟怎样就把各种关于
网络的服务和软件都装上了。
像什么samba、minidlna、lighttpd、mysqld、php5、vsftpd、gitolite等等这些装上
稍加配置就能用。然后把imagemagick，gallery3装上看看它处理图片和电影的性能怎
样，感觉还行，当然处理大的照片自然是最慢的了。
过了两天觉得玩得不够尽兴又把postfix、dovecot、squirrelmail这些邮件服务都装上
，让它给我收发邮件，于是给家里的动态IP在freedns上搞了免费域名，设好MX记录，
家里的router装了optware后自动更新IP地址，这样就保证能收邮件了。至于发邮件，
由于ISP已经把家里这个动态IP的网段提交给PBL advisory block list了，有些收邮件
的smtp服务器只要采用了这个PBL就会退回邮件，而gmail等倒不退回，直接扔spam... 阅读全帖 |
