one man. Everyone is legendary at something." 我不是一个人在搞定工作和小孩
啊。工作上有学生和博士后，还有 collaborators 和 friends （有些 friends 是
life long 的，10 年以上的老同学了，只要是他们力所能及的，一个 email 发过去就
能搞定啦). 我平时有妈妈帮忙接送小孩，开会的期间有朋友们负责接送小孩去
weekend classes。估计等小孩再大点考虑送 boarding school 吧, 我自己14岁就开始
上 boarding school 了, 很锻炼自己的独立能力和怎样和朋友相处的能力（不过现在
想起那个时候还是觉得自己有点傻，很多事情可以做的更好）。惭愧，我觉得我就是当
初工作和生活没有 balance 好才离的婚（生完孩子后把重心放在了孩子和工作上），
离婚后我做了很多的 reflection, 反省了很多自己的错误。其中一个solution 是要尽

加他家的email列表就能收到，网上列出来的code是15%off）
另外为了满99免运费，还买了一个shure PG58麦克风，一个Acesonic的所谓Legendary
的PX88（后来发现上当了）
这家价格还不错（就shure的PG58这个可以横向对比的东西来说），但是Acesonic的质
量就不敢恭维了。开始是看中了它有USB接口，但是这个mixer音频处理质量异常差劲，
而且所谓的录音功能也不管用。后来我还是用模拟输入。这样子还不如买Behringer的
MIX800了，价格差不多，至少是大牌子。做工也很烂，像国内的山寨货。那个麦克风，
说得很牛，其实音质和PG58差十万八千里（2/3的价格，但绝对没有一半的质量），晃
晃还会有噪音（里头零件松动吧）。
总之Acesonic就是个烂牌子，大家买的时候要小心。不过凑合着，能唱，也就算了。功
能倒是很不错，能直接接普通电脑多媒体音箱，也可以直接从普通的音频接口输入伴奏。
pros：方便易用，价格实惠

in 1996 and stuck with it until today has actually done worse than they

good performances (the 1 year,
5 years, 10 years etc.)
But as I learn more about mutual fund and investing, I think index fund is
the way to go for passive investors.
Because it's very hard to beat the market (benchmark) in long term.
Legendary fund managers like Bill Miller
beat S&P for 13 years, and then he did badly in 2007 and 2008.

In fact, most legendary value investors don't see eye to eye with each other
. For example, some investors (like Warren Buffett) place high values on
intangible assets (e.g. brand of Coca Cola), others discount it entirely
because the customers' taste can change overnight, so there is no margin of
safety at all. Other concepts such as using P/B as a value metric has shown
by data to proved to be a risk premium, as predicted by Eugene Fama.

1. the flow is enemy of a fund future performance.
