much easier job for pithers--just keep the ball inside. if the ball is hit,
99% would be a foul ball.
things aren't so easier because some good hitters can pull the balls to
the opposite field. Instead of a full swing, they would move the Qian2 Bi4
forward quickly but hold the bat back, then swing. It is not a full swing.
that's why opposite HRs are so rare.

Oswalt/Hamels trio is good, for the month of September and
the postseason, the Giants trio (Lincecum/Cain/Sanchez) was
actually BETTER. They were the reason why Giants can overcome
a 7-game deficit and eventually won NLW. Not only this, the Giants
trio had a combined sub 2 ERA in season series against Phillies.
