【侨报讯】司机们现在有更多的理由放下自己的手机了，因为纽约州加大了开车时
使用手持式电子设备的罚款额。据纽约时报报道，原先的最高罚款为100美元，但现在
新法规定，初犯的罚款幅度从50元至150元不等。在18个月内如果第二次违规，罚款幅
度从50元到200元不等。18个月内第三次违规，罚款幅度从50元到400元不等。
这些罚单还将伴有一个强制性的额外的附加费。
每次违规，司机都会被罚五个点。非法活动包括通话，发短信，拍照和玩游戏。
根据机动车辆管理局，在18个月内如果累积到11个点，司机的驾照会被吊销。
30天内，如果有两次开车时发短信和任何其他违规驾驶，司机将被处罚至少30天不
能开车上路。
司机仍然可以使用免提电话来通话。
虽然一些职业司机对新的处罚支支吾吾，其他纽约人认为修改后的处罚是适当的。
一位出租车司机说，“处罚的太厉害了，尤其是在纽约市，警察都是狠心肠。”

for Shanghai on July 15, they suddenly found it was not their flight. The
flight at that gate would fly to HKG. They were told to go to gate 98.
No sooner had they arrived in gate 98 then a clear flight delay was
