if you're a female, probably also need to look into ovarian etiology, always
thought pelvic exam is part of work-up for female with abdominal pain, my
pelvic exam is CT of abdomen and pelvis,
other test i could think of is endoscopy,
if HIDA scan with cck injection is still normal, probably is not gallbladder
related, but you could always go to extreme and get an exploratory
laparotomy, |

in general surgery, laparoscopic procedures often goes home in the next day
or so if no complication, laparotomy takes longer to recover so depends on
when the bowel function returns,
most of eye surgery is outpt procedure,
CABG takes about average of 4 to 6 days,
also depends on the individual patient and their own overall health and
other co-morbidity,
rule of thumb, if you are able to eat, drink, pee, poo, walk, breathe on
your own, should consider yourself very lucky and ask for discharge f |

1. Treatment for rhabdomyolysis involves intravenous saline infusions to
maintain a high urine output and alkalization of urine with a target pH of 7
-8 to prevent myoglobin deposition.
2. Aortic dissecting aneurysm caused by degeneration of tunica media-cystic
medial necrosis.
3. Cardiac rupture most common 4-7 days post MI.; ventricular free wall
rupture leads to cardiac tamponade.
4. New onset serous discharge from a laparotomy wound should raise the
suspicion of wound dehiscence.

发帖数: 27 | 7 我去年在这里做了阑尾炎手术，当时我是左下部肚子疼痛难忍加呕吐，后来疼痛转到了
肚子中部以肚脐为中心的一个大圈，起床肚子不敢使劲，平躺不动还好，后来进了ER，发高烧，白细
胞水平很高，后来喝了恶心的contrast,做了扫描，后来医生跑进来说结果看不出来是不是阑尾炎，
医生就抛下我不管了，到了深夜说是要把我转到住院部，又一批新的医生过来又问我一遍问题，后来
有人开始问我有没有性经历什么的，我说没有，但是他们还是让我去做radiology test，算是B
超？那里的人说他看不出来我有啥问题。当晚有医生说让我签同意书推进OR，因为医生还没有给我个
明确诊断，我心里没底，不愿意进手术，就先住一晚。第二天一大早医生查房问我例假，STD的情
况，几次提到uterus，一华裔女小医生过来劝我进行妇科阴道检查，我个人觉得没有必要，很抵
触，后来医生决定进行exploratory laparotomy手术，进手术室前，那个女医生还在劝我进行妇
科检查，我当时实在没办法，说可以进行检查，但是必须先明确排除不是阑尾炎的情况下才可以，她
说可以。然后我就签了同意书进了OR。

exhibit my English skills though they are not good. Well, there is a big
challenge facing any major fields. Ortho is another tech driven field. The
hardwares are evolving all the time. AO theory were commonly accepted but
now increasingly challenged by minimal invasive procedures and BO theory.
