发帖数: 1034 | 4 读这个专业的劣势主要在于，美国的大多数TESOL PROGRAM (MASTER LEVEL)是为在职教
师设置的。但是这不等于说我们就没有机会了。找工作时，眼光可以放到中小学之外去
，比如大学或者COMMUNITY里面的一些PROGRAM。另外，自己对自己有信心也是很重要的
，TESOL的PROGRAM时间不长，大家可以尽量拖长一点，多修一些SUBJECT AREA的学分，
比如数学或者LANGUAGE ARTS。再就是找机会INTERN,不但可以了解一下美国这里的
SCHOOL SYSTEM，加强自己的RESUME，更有甚者，如果表现出色，学校也许会表示聘用
你的意愿。最后，如果你在国内就有教学经验的话，不妨找一些中介公司帮忙找工作，
虽然要付一些钱，但是教育工作比较稳定，也不失为一条出路。加油吧。 |

今天普及了5堂课，早上的3个班昨天已经上过了第一次。
其中5年级孩子们等在教室外面的时候，透过大门的玻璃窗看见了我。
竟然在外面一起 chanting 起来 —— "围棋、围棋、围棋"。
老师赶快开门，把这些学生放到教室里面开始上课。
下午的1年级学生课堂上还有一个是明显的 Special Ed 的孩子。
我一直认为围棋有可能对 Special Ed 的孩子有帮助，
这次特意选了个有一定难度的围棋 puzzle 给这个孩子，他回答得很好。
我又特意安排一位老师和这个孩子下棋，并且叮嘱老师让孩子吃几个棋子。
我从棋局结束的棋形上看，形状都非常好。
老师也说这个孩子理解围棋规则和整个棋局都下得不错。
我一直有想法将来和一些 Special Ed 的资源合作，
看看围棋对这样的特殊教育的孩子有多大的帮助。
但是现在我还没有足够的资源，只能先放一放了。 |

这几句是在做什么?是把"0xFFFFFFFF"赋值给ip吗?为什么不能直接写成 mov ip, #
0xFFFFFFFF?

来美中国人多数在那些高科技公司工作.我们这里做护士的不占多数.(非法移民除外).
我个人感觉那些公司的人多数教育背景比较高,不少很国际化.所以面对这种barrier比
起在医院工作的我们容易对付些.
东西两岸少数民族众多,其实对我们来说比较有利.可是很多州医院护士还是以白人为主
.记不清哪本书上统计:全美护士caucasian占90%+.
我个人:上学全班只我一亚洲人.其它全白.和同学除课堂外没什么有效的交流.大家兴趣
实在不同,没感觉.
工作:我所在科室除我外,全白.我的工作接近casual,又是实习生,和同事相处也是面熟,
聊起天没共同语言,很难溶进去.
所以,如果正式工作了,同事都是清一色白人的话,如果还这样,对前途还是有影响的.因
为人际关系哪都存在.如果我们形单影之,很容易被忽略.(工作在ethnic diversity的地
方应该好很多)
美国人的文化是非常aggressive的.我们中国长大的人很难也做到和他们一样的
aggrssive.
language barrier:英语再好,俚语我们是不明白的.口音也影响人和人的距离.

by value。后来终于理解了，Python的变量和许多其他语言的不同，其他语言的变量名
常可以被想象成有名字的装载数据的容器，变量赋值是把数据放进容器里（即使是 by
reference，也是把指针数据放进指针变量里）；Python的变量名却最好比喻为在对象
上贴上的名字标签，所以变量赋值永远是 by reference，就是在已经有的对象上添一
个标签。这个可能跟Python所有数据类型都是对象(object)有关系。
这个方法通常最有效率，但是也容易让人迷惑，因为跟一般人的编程习惯不一样。
对于 immutable 的对象（比如浮点常数，字符串常数等等），把它赋值给一个变量名
仅仅是给这个常数对象贴上新标签，常数对象本身并不能被改变。如果两个标签 A 和
B 贴在同一个常数对象上，给 A 赋新值就好像把这个标签揭下来贴到另一个不相干的
常数对象上，对 B 没有影响，所以表现好像跟 by value 传参很像，但实际上还是 by
reference 的。
