而且经常指着她进度不快。她心情不太好，怀疑老板是故意针对她甚至是找茬为laid
off做准本。我觉得他老板可能没有那么大胆子但是未雨绸缪咨询一下。
我的理解是理论上虽然不能以怀孕为理由解雇你，但是可以以你不能按时完成工作要求
为理由解雇你，但是实际上雇主一般都不太敢在怀孕期间拿你怎么样。
我的问题是，如果老板给的工作任务太重，比如需要你8个小时之后还要回家工作甚至
周末来加班，那么完成不了是不是不可以作为laid off的理由？又比如本来以前是8个
小时能完成，但是现在由于怀孕的劳累困倦完成不了的，是不是也不能作为laid off的
理由？
现在实验室正式员工就她一个人，还有一个中国交换学生，当然正式的雇主是学校，雇
员很多。如果需要搜集证据以防万一的话，应该怎么样搜集比较好呢？比如写多少页的
论文和proposal的工作量都是很主观的，怎么能说一周几页是正常工作量那些是不合理
的超长工作量呢？是不是应该在email里面诱导老板说出要她下班以后继续工作或者鼓
励她周末加班的话呢？还有是不是以前在实验室呆过的人 |

If you are laid-off, probably you are laid-off, that is that. Tricky
business, hard to describe. If you are lucky enough to have 4 or 5 year
experience in biglaw, you might be able to get a job as an in-house counsel
after being laid-off.
If you have GC/Citizenship, the good thing is you can run your own office. |

奥巴马今天将就扩大就业等各种问题与Linked-in员工讨论。研讨的题目是 Putting America Back to Work 2011

去年二月份，巴拉克•奥巴马在加利福尼亚参加矽谷名人们的晚宴，每个客人都
得到了一个向总统提问的机会。
但当斯蒂夫•乔布斯准备发问时，奥巴马总统打断了他，先提出了自己的一个问
题：怎样才能在美国生产iPhone？
不久之前，苹果还在吹嘘它的产品都是在美国生产的，今天事情已经完全不是这样了。
苹果公司去年卖出的7000万部iPhone、3000万部iPad和5900万部其他产品，几乎全是在
海外生产的。
奥巴马问，为什么不能把这些工作搬到家里来做？

这个人脉，一帮人跟着瞎起哄。军队口认识人多么，三总部少将中将级的小孩，这边博
士毕业了，大公司政府干了3，4年后，前段时间都回国了，去北京高校当老师的，进军
工企业的，还有单干的；金融口，家里央行的好几个，都回去了；信息产业口的，警察
口的，体制外做生意的，就不一一提了。
现在有钱人多，也有了选择，对国内不满的，愿意走就走，没人拦你；走不了的，就忍
着，国内老百姓的忍耐力，那不是吹得。土工doomed不doomed有什么区别？你不信，有
人信，土工彻底doomed，然后呢？中国就彻底乱了？中国彻底乱了，你你一走了之，躲
