my friend got laid off 2 months ago, but he got 2 offers from local CPA
firms within 1 month. As long as you try hard, you will get what you need.

发帖数: 122 | 37 去年被集体laid off的时候，公司破产赖皮没有付package。后来公司被大家集体告了
。过了一年多，官司赢了，终于赔偿下来了，我却比所有人少了6000多块钱。一问，说
是因为我在被laid了以后还被发了钱，那个钱是要从我这个赔偿里面扣掉的。我被发钱
的原因是他们在laid off前面几个星期以及我的vacation都没有正确及时发给我（当时
payroll弄错了）。结果之前几个星期的钱都是后来laid off以后公司补还给我的。现
在就被在赔偿里面扣了，气死我了，白给公司多干了近一个月左右。
现在律师都拿到钱了，没有人愿意管这个事情，说是都final了，court根据破产法已经
给了这个decision和算法了，没法改了，也没法建议我应该去找谁理论。虽然我的证据
都在那里（前面几周被发了几张$0 payment的paycheck，还有后来补发的），但是律师
说这些没人管，除非我自己再去找别的律师打官司。。。
律师说他们就按标准来，laid off后收到的钱，他们又不知道也不管是什么钱，都按照
公司给我的compensation算。
主要是他懒得对我这个单独的case做啥吧。事先他 |
